It’s very easy to put together and absolutely beautiful, I wasn’t sure about this table because it has 4 stars reviews, but so glad I took a chance and I wasn’t disappointed, this is it extended, love love my new table.

This table is great, and exceeded my expectations! I was looking for a modern chic dining room set that would look minimal at the same time and this fit the bill. Because it’s like you can expect it to get dusty very often but that’s one of the cons with getting this sort of color. Very easy to put together, definitely get this table. I got the matching bench as well!

We love our table! Beautiful and sturdy! Worth the money! Of course you have to be smart to know how to put it together but it’s not hard at all but worth it! Heavy and sturdy! The black color it’s beautiful on it! Very comfortable! Beautiful design scratches!

I am really impressed with this dining set. It arrived on a pallet but the delivery guys were kind enough to take it apart and bring the three individual boxes inside for me. With 2 people working well together you can assemble the table, bench, and 4 chairs in under 2 hours.The box to the table was damaged and I was extremely worried about there being damage to the table. I am convinced that the table was a return from a previous buyer because there were no predrilled holes in the table. I called the toll free number on the instructions to make sure there were supposed to be pre-drilled holes and the woman told me there was. When I told her there weren't and what should I do about it she said customer support, who was out to lunch, would have to call me back and she took down my name and number. Customer support never called me back so I had to call on a friend who loaned me his drill. Thank goodness I got the drill because the 4 chairs were also missing pre-drllled holes where "screws F" were supposed to go. It would have been a nightmare trying to hand-screw in the screws without pilot holes.Anyway, I'm giving this 4 stars because of the lack of holes and that my table was clearly a return. Why do I know this? Several reasons:1) there was a random wood screw just laying in the middle of the box (upon extending the table I realized where this screw was needed)2) there was sticky residue on the table in 2 places as if a large sticker label had once been there and removed but the stickiness was still there.3) there was a giant, disgusting man's fingernail (not just the tip, but the full on fingernail) inside the table where the extension leaf is kept (ew, ew, ew, ew, ew)4) the brace where the loose wood screw belonged was warped and missing the second wood screw altogether. (fortunately the single wood screw that I found was sufficient to hold it in place)So here is what I deduce: the previous customer got frustrated when there were no predrilled holes and somehow in the process lost a fingernail and said "#*(@! this - I'm returning this!" and I in turn received the table. I'm so disgusted still but if it weren't for being such a great piece of furniture would have returned it for that reason alone.On to the furniture because I assume your table will not come with a fingernail and warped brace and missing screws. You will probably not get the pilot holes in the table and 4 chairs, so make sure you have access to a drill.The quality is great. They did, however, put in intentional distress marks. This is not natural to the grain. You can tell because each of the 4 chairs on the exact same pieces in the exact same locations have all the exact same distress marks. So it's clearly manufactured. If this doesn't bother you (it didn't bother me) then you're golden.I originally found this set in World Market for much more money plus there's no free shipping with them. I'm so glad I found this on Amazon!Don't be afraid to buy it. I'll cross my fingers that you don't get the nasty nail!

I love my new dining table! The installation was easy (but definitely requires 2 people). I scheduled a delivery to my place and it showed up early. I love the quality of the wood and it feels so well made. The butterfly built into the table is what sold me. I live in a smaller apartment and it fits perfect, extended or not. This color is a deep black but you can see the grain in the wood so it doesn’t feel “heavy” looking. Planning on buying the matching chairs soon!

I'm glad I didn't write a review on the arrival of the product because it's a beautiful table BUT within 6 months of purchase without high traffic dinner guests the ends began chipping off all around the table. Obviously not painted or finished properly or stored somewhere too warm or cold.VeryVery Disappointed it's been 6 months in our new home and we have to purchase a new table.

Pretty darn solid and heavy, I love it ! Without opening up the leaf it is small but creates more room if you have a open concept home, which I love. Easy to put together and does not feel cheap at all.

We were looking for a nice, sturdy black table for our new home. Received this one in a short amount of time from ordering. Over all it was packaged well but does have a pretty noticeable scratch on the top. Because it’s so large, it wouldve been too much of a hassle to pack up and return.
