It is the best power cord replacement. It does what it supposed to powering the radar detector. The USB ports are outstanding though. The 1 amp port is bang on 4.2-4.5V 1A and stable. The 2 amp port is the same. I have logged as high as 1.9A which is better than other USB ports in the car with QI and SMart. The port glow is a perfect level of brightness. It is not a distracting glow. The only "imperfection", probably to make sure it fits the variety of electronics it's for, is the length of 3.5mm power connector. It shows just a little bit of silver when plugged in to my 480I. The original sits flush. It's not something to be unhappy with. It is literally the only thing not perfect about this product. Very happy and thoroughly satisfied with this product.

I got this for my cobra radar 480i and it’s perfect the length is great and it’s nice to be able to charge my phone while my radar is in use.

The cord for my radar detector stopped working. I was so glad I found this as a replacement. I like that it has a double USB port on the outside that lights up.

Works for my Uniden R4

I needed a replacement for my old one and this one is the right length works great

Power to radar detector works good. USB ports on it not so good. Plug anything into usb ports blows fuse inside the plug in. First one kept blowing fuses. Replacement doing good so far.

The male part that plugs into my Uniden R3 doesn't stay secured so it will often loose power... Not a good thing. Blue LED in the base of USB side is way too bright and annoying at night time. In my opinion its worth paying extra for the real adaptor for your device.
