I needed a set of chisels for my tool bag I lug from job to job. I looked all over and found these to be perfect. These were priced right by not being cheap but not too expensive which for a mobile bag that could be stolen out of the truck this was important. As for the tools themselves, first they are SHARP, which for this type of tool is more then a good quality, they are shorter then the Dewalts or other premium brands, and shorter by well over an inch, just right for my bag, they have a metal strike plate where you beat on the chisel so the handle can well handle it. And last they are a cool color, the blue stands out in a bag swamped with many color tools, plus I like blue. Oh, then they work like a charm, they perform just as well as my premium sets for a 1/3 the cost. Buy these if your into good quality and saving some cash.

Decent product for the money. I have one (the largest) this is starting to show signs of wear after a few projects. One of the edges is starting to curl on one side --I only use them for wood. The handles are nice, sturdy and take a good pounding from hammers, etc. and they come with some plastic covers to protect the sharp ends during storage. These are pretty good for the average joe but not great for long term or continuous use (if you have a profession that requires these).

Bought it to do some woodwork and it worked great! Sharp enough to do some door work and also came with a light oiled coating.

These were inexpensive and that’s all I expected. They are very sturdy and I bought them to tear away edges off of thick heavy plastic car parts. They do a great job at that.

For the price, you cannot beat this chisel set. The tools are sturdy and super sharp. They get the job done nicely.

I retired from being a carpenter in all areas like trim, building curved stairs out of walnut, including handrails and raised panel trim work but mostly general framing. General framing is the gorilla of carpentry work and persuasion by force is a skill often employed in general framing. Sledge hammers and swinging around 22 oz milled face, framing hammers all day. I carry these 3 chisels in my bags and am hard on them. I pound them with a framing hammer at least 10 times a day. No, they do not last for long but do you really want to spend 75$ for a nice chisel that I guarantee will fail just as quickly using them this way? No, I buy these because they do what I want gorilla framing and they will fail. If I was using them to help build fine cabinetry or shaving a small defect in crown molding I would not buy these.

I needed to drop the door plate in one of my bedrooms and this helped me do it just fine. All edges were actually real sharp and didn't come chipped at all like the others I saw who reviewed their units.The only issue I have is with the ends of the handles being metal....WHY would they think this was a good idea if you were to hit this with a hammer?
