I am S/M size and decided to buy L/XL after reading some reviews of these socks. I am also very short, so with these references in mind here is my review:I am very impressed with these socks. They are quite tight and that makes them a little tricky to put on and a tad too long for my legs and so sit uncomfortably on the backs of my knees, but I cannot fault the product for that as I bought a larger size and once on the leg there is a comfortable pressure. They don't slip down or move once you have them on, but if you want to adjust them after then you have to roll them all the way down and start again.I have had these pairs for a few months and haven't had any rips or breaks, although the fabric feels strong I always put them on carefully so my nails don't run the risk of poking through.I've noticed a slight improvement to my circulation as I have less dizzy spells when I wear these socks (vs when I wear no compression socks) whenever I exercise or intend to do a lot of walking/standing for long periods. I did not notice any difference when sitting for long periods.This has been my experience and I'm happy to have purchased them!

Good quality, warm and comfortable, washes well no shrinking and retains colour.Ensure you measure both your legs to get the correct fit.

I have been using a leading brand at £20+ a pair, but they are flimsy and prone to holes, so I tried these ones (more in hope than expectation) as a low-cost alternative. They are excellent quality, with good compression all the way up, and a good grip so they don't slip down. They are a slightly thicker, more robust construction which so far hasn't developed any holes. The foot is long enough that it doesn't crush my toes (a problem with some other brands) and the leg is a good length. I've machine washed them and tumble dried them twice now with no problem. I went straight from an XL in my previous brand to a L/XL with these, and got a good fit. Happy to recommend these unreservedly.

I'm a nurse and usually wear compressions timings under my socks. I bought these so I can an "all in one" but they're a very strange fit. I don't have very wide legs or calves but these are quite stiff and the band around the top is uncomfortabley tight and really digs in. I had to cut it with scissors during my first shift wearing them as it was really digging in and hurting. They're a decent compression stockings but quite thick/stiff, the band is too small and I would size up due to their stiffness and band. Also very synthetic and sweaty.

Strong elastic keeps muscles nice and tight

I was recovering from a ruptured achillies tendon and had just had the moonboot removed but my foot was still massively swollen. A friend recommended I get inflight socks to reduce the water retention and swelling faster. These worked a treat and were better than the ones I had purchased in the past. They also kept me warm and were comfortable and not restrictive at the top like how some flight socks can be. I can ever wear these with my boots so will continue to get use of them. And they make my calves skinnier. Loving them
