Made my life much easier.
When it comes to an affordable, reliable, and multifunctional OBD2 scanner, the TOPDON OBD2 Code reader Scanner ArtiDiag500 is an excellent choice. This scanner is a great tool for identifying and analyzing codes in a wide range of vehicles. Whether you are a professional mechanic or a car enthusiast, this scanner is perfect for diagnostic scanning and troubleshooting. One thing I particularly love about this scanner is its user-friendly design. The intuitive buttons and clear display make it easy to navigate, and the ability to perform diagnostic scans, read and clear codes, and access live data really sets it apart from other scanners on the market.Furthermore, the scanner comes with a wide range of features such as GM Mode 6, Freeze Frame, O2 Sensor Test, On-Board Monitoring, and much more. With such a diverse range of functions, diagnosing issues within the engine and transmission of your car is a breeze. However, I do need to mention that while the scanner itself is excellent, it doesn't come with a charging cable, which is a bit of a downside. Nevertheless, this is a minor issue considering the overall quality of the scanner. In conclusion, the TOPDON OBD2 Code reader Scanner ArtiDiag500 is an excellent scanner that offers a great range of features, and superior accuracy to help you make the best decisions about your car's servicing needs. It is one of the best options available within its price range, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and high-performance OBD2 scanner.

Cool Little Unit
As an auto electrician and working with hundreds of vehicles a week, you often find that some vehicles don’t like certain products you’re installing or coke to you with problems in the first place, so OBD readers are kind of a necessity, when I first received this, straight out of the box you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the design, even with the unboxing of the unit itself. After charging it and setting it up ready to use, I tested it out on my car, The auto vin detection is seem less and makes life so much easier than having to search through lights of brands and models of vehicles, although there is that option I never needed to use it.I’ve had the unit now for about 2 weeks and have been able to use it on lots of different vehicles, the code clearing process as well as diagnostic information are very easy to use and work out. Being able to email the diagnostic information is a life saver too, you’re instantly presented with a health report of the vehicle as soon as you’ve plugged in, which once that is done you can then go on to clear codes, get more information, check battery health and find out lots of different information about certain aspects of the car.Overall the Topdon AD500 is a very very good unit, with easy to use functions, a nice design and great price, you get a lot of technology for your money with this unit, there are somethings that this can’t do like reset service lights etc but for me that wasn’t an issue. This covered every base I needed it too and I’m sure it will continue to do so for a long while!

Seems a good bit of kit so far
Not had much use yet, only bought to find abs fault. Wanted a reader that would give live data on wheel speed. I looked all over the internet to find out if this does that and even watched about 2 hours worth of video reviews on this model but nothing confirmed or denied that function. I can confirm this does infact measure wheel speed. Found my faulty sensor and can now replace and repair fault.

Easy to use.
I recently bought this OBD2 scanner and it has been incredibly helpful. Setup was quick—just plugged it into my car’s diagnostic port and connected. It immediately pulled up error codes and gave clear explanations. Highly recommended for DIY diagnostics and routine car maintenance.

Worth every penny IMO
Very impressed so far, bought it to try and diagnose a fault on a Ford fiesta 2010 and it told me straight away, (Low fuel pressure ) and I was able to monitor the fuel pressure in the live data section with the engine running, so it does exactly what I bought it for, I also plugged in to my Ford transit custom and it told me a lot of useful information about expected life cycle on components based on the mileage etc, have only used a few times but has been really good, it’s a good size and connects easily with the auto VIN function so yeah I’d definitely recommend it. I just used it for at home, I’m not a car mechanic but it helped me find out.It would probably save the diagnosis cost most garages charge now so it’s a win win

Most useful item
Car issues! And it gives a warning light up on dash, so you go to the garage and get charged a lot for someone to sit in seat and plug in code reader all of 5 minutes work and here’s your bill Sir. So I bought this item as was having an issue with my Fiat 500 . The unit comes well packed and has a soft storage case for the reader along with its lead and a usb charging cable, quite straight forward to set up and once it had updated its data base I was ready to go. You plug the unit in to the cars data port turn the key to power up vehicle the select make of car. The reader then reads the vin number of vehicle and looks for any fault codes. You can then send a report to your email address for reference or send it to their database which will look up past reports of the issue and inform you of most likely cause. In my case an issue with the coil which was something I could deal with myself. So far I have been very happy with the unit and am sure it will continue to pay for itself over the coming years

Great
Fantastic reader. Told us exactly what was wrong with the car, took the car to the garage and they said exactly what the reader told us. Well worth the money. Its a good size, abit complicated to understand all the codes ect. Easy to connect to the car.
