It’s a great little craft kit, but you need to make sure to work with the sushi rice clay quickly for it tends to dry out. This caused a bit of frustration for my little artist. Otherwise you can make super cute creations with this! I’ve purchased all the dry clay kits that Klutz makes, this was one of our family favorites

If I could give zero starts I would. I’ve been buying this brand of craft kits for years because they’re usually pretty good, HOWEVER, this one was a MASSIVE FAIL. All the clay was dried out, along with the foam beads. I added water to the beads hoping it would reactivate them, but it instead made them so gooey they were impossible to work with. We weren’t able to use the kit and will have to trash it. I’m so sad. This was my daughters fun craft to do over Christmas break and now we have nothing.

This was a terrible kit. The clay was so dry that we could not mold it to any sushi shape, and the white dots were also totally dry and unusable. I want a refund for this item. I wasted $25.00 and my granddaughter was very disappointed that she could not create the sushi bar.

Y'all. I think my husband and I loved this kit just as much as our daughter. All 3 of us sat and did the whole kit in one setting. Everything you need is included except I did grab an old pair of tweezers for the "row" beads. Took us about an hour and a half to do the whole kit and was a fun way to spend time together as a family. My daughter is 8 and juuuust able to really do a good job with it. Takes quite a bit of dexterity since the bits are tiny. Buy it and have fun!

The kit is super cute with a very nice instructions booklet, but the clay was dry and the white "bubble clay" was unusable. My kid cried and i had to go to a craft store to buy new clay....this kit is a waste of money

Our bubble clay was dried out and just exploded with a little pressure. My daughter was so excited for this and then super frustrated and sad.

Remember to seal bubble clay tightly between crafts or it will be unusable… I hope they will add a note to the package instructing the crafter to seal it between uses or put it in a resealable bag. I think that will fix the bubble clay challenge. Cheers!

Lots of fun and creative.

We used this with friends and it was a hit! The book is so useful and clear, everyone could follow directions. Everything is so cute, from the little eyes and stickers to the takeaway box. Adorable! Two negatives: Not enough air dry clay. There is SUCH a small amount. Secondly, the clay was pretty dried out, even though it just arrived. That made it much harder to make the sushi! It would be really helpful if you could buy a refill for this kit, because my kids would love to make this for hours! I just bought air dry clay elsewhere so my kids can make more, but a refill kit would be better if it included the eyes and stickers.

We were really looking forward to using this kit this summer. However, the “bubble clay” in the kit used for all of the rice was all dried out and crumbly making it impossible to roll together. There doesn’t seem to be anyway to revive the clay either. Very disappointing.

The foam was completely dry therefore will not hold together, at all. Rather the foam just crumbles, super disappointing!!! Would not recommend!!!
