I have fine gray hair with little body. If I wash and after towel-drying my hair and leaving a little damp, I take a dab and with wet hands rub the dab on my hands and then run my hands through my hair, it gives body to my hair when dry. I can do the same thing when dry later if it needs more. It just needs wet hands so it doesn't clump on. It is very thick so you need to thin with water in your hands before applying but it's got the best hold with no unpleasant residue of any I've tried.

Great product, as expected, at a great price! This hair product is exactly what I need for a good hold all day. Very please with how easy this is to work with and how long it lasts (all day +). Not sticky, just a good hold.

I've used this product for a couple of years and was happy with it. Unfortunately, I ordered a replacement tin awhile back and it came to me soupy and ineffective. I thought maybe it was a fluke, so I ordered another tin. That tin showed up the same. Very thin and soupy and did not work. It's disappointing that a good product is changed and no longer worth purchasing. I've moved on to other products.

Product is great for curly haired youth boy. Easy to use and rubs in nicely without leaving hair stiff or crunchy. Will repurchase again.

I love this product. I've order it from Amazon many times, but occasionally I'm sent other Tigi products by mistake. Last time I got Tigi Matte Separation, but didn't notice until after the return option was no longer available. They are in the same exact package, only the print is different. Pay attention to what you receive!
