Works well so far
.This is pretty much partners' review. The Merumaya Overnight Recharge Night Cream is rich yet not overly-so and it sinks in relatively quickly leaving skin feeling hydrated but not greasy. As I’m very dehydrated lately, I use two pumps, but oily to normal skins would only need one pump. This really does go rather well with the Treatment Toner, as it contains a lot of similar ingredients that can continue the good work of the toner and I would really recommend this if you have skin that has areas of dryness and then may be oily patches, as it’s one of the few night creams that really nourishes without blocking pores. It still early days with this product – but so far seem to going well, as with most things only time will tell how good and productive this Merumaya Overnight Recharge Night Cream is. From my limited look on the internet “Merumaya products” have a good and mainly positive feedback. As with all products that are applied to the body, best to do a patch test, on small area first just to ensure no negative reactions. Unfortunately the cost list here is expensive, so best shop around from this product..

Effective renovating cream, pleasantly fragranced and very little needed
The Merumaya brand was created by someone with a long career at the head of one of the leading cosmetics companies to create a new company with its own range of products using knowledge and experience previously gained and with a desire to provide something new and better than those known.MERUMAYA Overnight Recharge Night Cream 30 ml is of a compact and convenient size, its packaging suggests something much larger, and provides a solution for the effects of ageing, fatigue and atmospheric conditions that may detrimentally affect the skin's condition and requiring the use of a moisturiser but preferably providing rather more. Based upon hyaluronic acid, although in combination with several other active ingredients (all proprietory), which is considered by many cosmetics companies as one of nature's 'magic bullets' for the benefits it provides and who use it in many of their products. The applicator required at least a dozen pumps to prime and a very thin thread of product eventually emerged just when it was assumed that nothing would ever appear. If nothing else, that reinforces the 'little goes a long way' concept. There is a slightly greasy residue left on the skin after application which is that which remains active at night. The skin is noticeably smoother after a single treatment than it was before.Intended for the face, neck and decollete, or whichever most needs attention, the cream is light in texture although claimed to be as potent as a serum. It is capable of providing almost immediate results with visible improvements sometimes achievable upon a minimal number of applications, although individuals may find timescales may vary. It is florally fragranced, fairly strongly and very pleasantly.Although not priced at the lower or higher ends of the market, performance appears to match that from some of the 'prestige' salon brands and significantly surpasses that obtained from the readily available product ranges as sold by the supermarkets and pharmacies, among others. If it can work that well for you and you have been using the prestige brands or their salons, then you could be saving a great deal and lose nothing. It can be used alone or in combination with other Merumaya products which, based on some experience with another of their products, will each provide greater performance and improved results. It may be worth checking the comapny's web site or magazine ads and articles for specific usage advice.

Not cheap, but really nice...
My wife really liked this cream. She normally uses SK-II which is more expensive, and hard to get, but after trying this cream for a few weeks she's considering changing. She said "It's very light and almost disappears as soon as you put it on, but it leaves your skin feeling great afterwards, moisturized and radiant." She's had problems with certain more oily products not suiting her skin type (light Mediterranean) and giving her spots and making the skin look oily (Chanel was one that was just too rich for her skin type) but none of those problems with this cream. She said the day and night cream really felt very similar, and the day cream worked really well under makeup. Although cheaper than SK-II, only 4 stars because it is isn't cheap overall. Highly recommended.

Sleeping beauty?...
I’ve tried a couple of Merumaya product recently and this one is the first to have the label stuck on the bottle straight, I know it’s a little thing but you can’t help noticing and first impressions matter. The second impression is of a rich night cream that has a slightly waxy texture, inasmuch as it melts into the skin as you apply it, and a nice fragrance that’s reminiscent of floral essential oils. Applied to naked skin it has a smoothing effect, leaving a slight waxy residue on the surface of the skin which is probably too much for daytime, especially if you wear make-up, although it does dry to a quite matte finish. However, the directions for use suggest layering this cream over the MERUMAYA Iconic Youth Serum and that seems a bit unnecessary and over-indulgent, although I’m sure it helps the Merumaya bottom line. The two products seem superficially a bit similar, at least in texture and fragrance, and you would wonder how much of this night serum would penetrate through the high-build (Dimethicone containing) serum? The pump dispenser works well and delivers a frugal amount of product with each pump, so although it might take 2 or 3 pumps to treat your whole face and neck at least you’re in control of the quantity used. I’ve found this night cream (and other Merumaya products) quite calming on the skin, I had a minor issue with a redness on my forehead and a couple of pimples (caused by another skincare product) and they both seem to be soothed and minimised by using the Merumaya products overnight. Although I do have the Iconic Youth Serum I don’t feel using them together really achieves noticeably better results, they're both helpful on their own, and you certainly don’t see double the benefit despite paying double the price. The Iconic Youth Serum probably gives more dramatic results, at least with its instant smoothing effect, but this night cream aims to be more of a restorative treatment and is very pleasant to use, with some noticeable calming properties. Smooth skin
Merumaya overnight recharge night cream is a pleasant cream but with a strong perfume which may not be to everyone's tastes. I think it is a pleasant and clean smelling and the aroma fades once applied anyway. It's a heavy cream which suits its nightime application. It feels well absorbed and luxurious on the skin, it feels like you are treating your skin to something special for the night. The packaging is uninspiring which at this price point is somewhat surprising. Not that packaging matters that much if the product does the job well. It certainly moisturises and softens the skin, it feels lovely and my skin feels smooth in the morning. I'm not convinced it does very much more than that (but it does do that very well!).4/5 - a solid product but no miracles here and the price point is quite high.

Great Product
Merumaya is not a well known brand but I would put it on par with Boots Protect & Perfect range both in terms of price, quality and results. This night cream is great and when used with the Merumaya Serum definitely brings results within a few weeks, this lasts around a month if used sparingly and is a quality product and therefore strongly recommended.
