Avantalk BTDG-20 Bluetooth Wireless USB V2.0 + EDR Class 2 Mini Dongle Adapter for PC / Laptop / Desktop / PDA / Printer

I use this to connect my Wii remotes to PC. Works great for that. Just plug it in and let Windows install the drivers. Might need to unplug and plug in a few times to get it working right, but I only paid $3 for this adapter 5 years ago and it still works.

You will not receive the product advertised. You will receive a non-OEM knock off, made by some company called GT Max, without any software needed to use all the functions of the device. The software from Bluesoleil will set you back another $30-$40...better to buy the Zoom Telephonics 4314 USB BT adapter here on Amazon for just $22. It works right out of the box, this device might be found by your operating system, I use XP Pro SP3, but that is as far as it goes, to get the added VoIP and other functions, like BT Stereo Audio, you need to BUY the software and even then it may or may not work.I suggest avoiding this seller at all costs. If this were the Avantalk BTDG-20 as advertised it would have included the software.

This does what is is suppose to it is NOT listed on the specs but this adaptor DOES work fine with Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04 32bit it does not seem to work on Ubuntu 64bit. Also the CD provided when inserted in both a Windows and Linux Machine both say the Disc is blank. If you are thinking on getting this for FILE transer from a bluetooth device to your computer this does not work atleast not for me and not with my model Cell Phone.

This product came with no instructions or software. I also don't believe it is actually an Avantalk BTDG-20. It doesn't look the same. Most likely a knock-off. I haven't been able to get it to work at all. Don't buy this product and I don't suggest you purchase anything from this vendor.

Great product for adding Bluetooth to laptop. We have a Dvi connection on our older TV and needed a better way to improve the sound while doing Karaoke off Youtube. This works great.

after receiving my adapter and connecting it it work fine until i tried to connect my cell phone to it. it then began to give trouble and say i don't not have the drivers . after reading that , i contacted the sellers who responded quickly and sent a link to download the driver . wen they were downloaded i tried connecting the USB gain with it working but no connecting to my computer i reconnected it at which point it died ad stop working. after requesting for a return the manufacturer simply gave me my refund and saved the hassle of mailing back the broken product . :)

I originally bought this adapter to allow me to stream music from my PC to my bluetooth headphones. If that's what you're looking for, this is not for you. For file transfers, it's okay. Nothing special. Transfer speed and ease of use were averege.

This product works for all Bluetooth devices that I have tried to connect to it except for my Motorola S9-HD Bluetooth headphones. The reason is that Microsoft does not have a driver for the Motorola Bluetooth S9-HD Headphones. If you are buying this adapter to hook up your Bluetooth headphones to your computer make sure that Microsoft has supporting drivers for the product.

Don't buy this product. It does not work at all.
