These are great pads, quality, and they don’t shed any grit. However, they are not marked so it is difficult to tell which is 1000 grit and which is the 1500 grit. For that reason, I can only give it for stars.

I have used the 3M Trizact system for years and needed some sanding pads quickly. Gave these pad a try and do not see myself returning to the 3M line anytime soon. Price point is a contributing factor, but not my number one reason. These pads work well both wet and dry, and fad gracefully which is refreshing as I keep the used pads for finer work.

The discs seem well made and are useable but don't expect 1000 grit, they are more like 500.

These sanding pads don't have any identification as to which is 800 or 1,000. They are also way more coarse than what the company says. It's not even close. I also bought the 1,200- 1,500. Those have the same problem!These are not durable for any of my wood tables! They are wear out very quickly.False advertising all the way. What a bummer. 😔

I usually use 3M Trizac clearcoat finishing discs for my automtove paint refinishing. I thought I'd try these since they are substantially less expesive than 3M and were available for quick delivery. Problem is that upon opening the box I immediately noticed that the sanding surface was much more coarse than 1000. Maybe closer to 600. This would have destroyed the clearcoat in short order. I am going back to 3M, its worth the extra $$ to preserve an expensive paint job.
