Works on Coby TV as advertised, put in batteries and it's good to go, no programming needed. Remote itself is large by modern standards, though very light and the plastic feels cheap and may be easier to crack if dropped. Photo alongside a Roku remote for scale. Large size means not all the buttons can be hit without adjusting your grip but as I only use it to turn on or off the TV and adjust the menu it doesn't affect me. All the feature buttons work as well, guide, sound mode, info, mute, etc

It was time to replace our original one and this one is just like it and works like a charm. Hope it holds out just as long.

you can hear rattling. i dont think it holds the batteries securely. i have to remove cover and hold batteries down half the time to make it work. and you have to keep pressing to get volume to increase a bit at a time.
