Is it really waterproof? Will pee go through?

It really is. Works for both our twin babies, but they are only 8m so not peeing on it bee have had a pretty serious vomiting on it once and it was fine. Plus all the spit ups and still nothing went through it.

Can this be used for newborns? Some websites suggest don’t use the waterproof pad until over 1 year old.

According to the evidence based sleep group I’m in mattress pads/waterproof pads are safe as long as they are fitted and snug. I have this waterproof pad and it fits my crib mattress perfectly. It is very snug with no bunching. I’ve been using it since my daughter was a newborn with no issues.

After you wash it, is it still waterproof?

Yes! Sure is. Don't put them in the dryer. Or maybe on low heat. I put mine in the dryer and the lining melted. They work perfectly if you hang dry them

Does it fit a standard 28Wx52Lx6"D mattress?
