Lots of fun to put together, but I was surprised to receive it with a medallion with a cross attached. It was easily removed making it a more appropriate gift in my non Christian family.New to scrapbooking this is what i did....Bc the pages are a bit small I downloaded software to make collages of pictures to print so that I could cut to fit more than one on each page. But the 15th collage i realized i could make different sizes and had a lot of fun.I used 3m double sided tape for mounting pics and other items.Some colors from metallic pens are a bit hard to read. But overall a good buy.

I purchased this to use as a guestbook at our small, intimate wedding and it was perfect! We didn’t want anything with too many pages since most of them would be left blank. This book came with 30 pages (60 pages if you count both sides), which is just the right amount for our 20 guests plus pictures. There are 10 black pages and 20 cardboard/kraft pages. I wish there was an option to get all black pages though, because the cardboard ones don’t look great. There is always the option to buy refill pages, I suppose.The book also comes with two sheets of colorful picture squares so that you don’t need to use glue or tape to attach pictures. The book itself seems very durable and I think it will stand the test of time. We lugged this halfway around the world for a destination wedding, and it survived several long flights in checked luggage, and made it back home like new! I would recommend this product. I didn’t like the religious charm that came with the book, but that was easily removed.

I wanted to send my mother-in-law some pictures of all our grandchildren because she is 1000 miles away and misses so much. I thought it was a good idea to make a little scrap book for her titling each page or picture so she would know who is who. Leather was a good idea for quality and something that would stand up to many viewings. She is in a nursing home and will be showing everyone. I was so disappointed in this album. It feels more like bonded felt than leather. The pages are nice and sturdy. I do not believe it came with enough corner stickers. All in, it would be a nice craft for a child. I was very unhappy with the quality of the cover when it arrived: and am so unhappy with the finished product. This is the bad thing about shopping on line even when the reviews are more favorable. I finished it and will mail it to her. I am just glad her vision is not what it use to be and will be embarrassed knowing she is sharing it with others.

I bought this to give my girlfriend as a gift after I collected a bunch of notes from her friends and family expressing how she's been a blessing in their life and used of the Lord to encourage them. I used rubber cement (easier to apply and clean up) to paste the notes and pictures into the book. The pages were thick enough to not experience any bleed-through from the rubber cement, and it's three-ring-binder-style pages made it easy to move things around, even after the pages were all completed. The cover felt quality made too and just looks good. The leather bookmarks with charms are a tasteful and beautiful touch. It turned out pretty well, I think, and she really appreciated the book.It's a good book with the potential to turn it into a great scrapbook or book of notes and memories!

Love the quality inside and outside! Unfortunately the size is too small. Description says it can hold 120 4-6 inch pictures, but in reality one page can hold only one 4x6 picture, so I can place 60 4x6 over 60 pages. I could fit 2 3x5 but almost no store carries such prints. Just be aware of this when purchasing, otherwise album looks great.

I love the overall look and quality of this photo album. The album came with both light brown inner pages and black inner pages. While it is great having both options, I now see the need to purchase another separate album, because I would prefer having only a single color of pages in the album. Also, the adhesive photo-holding "tabs" that came with the album are all bright colors (red, blue, purple, yellow, pink and light blue) and there are limited quantities of each color. The color scheme of these tabs is at complete odds (to me) with the aesthetic of the album itself (which speaks of a sophisticated, lasting, high-quality item). I don't want to put these bright color tabs around my photos and take away from the art I'm planning on putting in there, so I'm going to need to purchase a separate set of photo-holding tabs in a solid color. I am absolutely pleased with the quality of the album itself and the paper, but if you are going for a certain look and feel, you might consider purchasing complementing colors of paper/photo tabs.

Recently started going through several boxes of family photos. Divided up into several piles to give to my children and to keep for myself. Decided to make albums for my kids. I wanted something a little different and ordered this one for my son. Love the uniqueness of it. It came with both black and kraft paper color heavy card stock pages. I also purchased a pack of black heavy card stock paper at craft store. Used paper cutter and hole punch to make extra pages. Liked that the book had 3 ring “binder” type rings making it easy to customize the book. I used mostly black pages and wrote comments or information using white gel pen. I also used some clear plastic pages with sleeves designed for inserting photos. All in all it turned out to be a very personal, one of a kind, book depicting his life. I highly recommend this book as it is very good quality and not your usual photo book.

Totally great scrapbook! I used to make my brothers scout album (he’s an Eagle Scout) and he loved it! Sturdy and worth the money!
