Quadrafire Thermocouple Cover

I replace the thermocouple every year like clockwork. With regular maintenance it keeps my stove running perfectly! Our stove is the main heat source during the day all winter long and when it gets chilly out. The stove runs from Late September till usually end of April. So it works hard for us! I've ordered this particular brand for the last 5 years in a row, never had any issues and always fit and worked well. Noticed the price actually dropped this year as opposed to last years price by about $1.50..surprising considering inflation is at an all time high-but completely appreciate it!

I noticed that the tip had broken off of the original one, most likely when I was giving it a good cleanup a couple months ago. Sure, it's kinda spendy... BUT It's cheaper than buying a new thermocouple, which can be damaged without it. The part came within a couple of days (I love Prime!) and was the exact replacement part. My only issue with installing it was that my screw had become one with the bracket so when I tried to loosen it up to slide the old one out, it just stripped and that had nothing to do with the part itself. I managed to work around that by very gently bending the bracket back a little while wiggling the old one out and inserted the new one the same way, holding my breath in fear of shattering the new one as I'd heard they are fragile. Once in, I placed the thermocouple in the back of it, making sure to push it all the way to the end and plugged the dragon box into the outlet. Soon I was rewarded with a lovely little fire. Works great!

Peace of mind ordering from what is Quadrafire Store. Quality seems to be the same as what came with the stove. Great price and way cheaper than going to a local stove dealer. Will order again when needed.

Good all around fit for a lot of different stoves that HH&T builds. I am a Quadrafire dealer & My Distributor told me he had none in stock & it was a 3 week wait item. My experience with my distributor is that they have very little parts on hand. Most items are a special order items which equals more $$ for the "freight charges" making item more Costly. Since I am a 300 air miles away from them I can not actually walk in and see what is on the shelves or sales floor. I am at their mercy. But I was thinking there has to be another way to offer my customer the part they needed without me buying and possibly losing my dealership from buying from another Dist. I would buy retail. I then thought of Amazon they have tons of sellers on there. So I logged on and to my happiness there was the cover & I was able to offer my customer with fast friendly service. I got this in less than 5 days @ a lower price than I would've paid. Thank you Amazon
