Love the flavor
Calabrian Oregano is sweeter than the Sicilian variety. Depending on your preference you have a choice of sweeter or more bitter between the two. We use both depending on what we are seasoning.

Fresh oregon from italy
This is a product.I haven't seen in so many years.And the minute I opened the bag It took me home period I was raised in italy I absolutely love that smell and it's wonderful to cook with Thank you.For picking this wonderful oregano , and offering it to us I have been a chef all my life.And I love this product and now i'm retired and Disabled , and i'm happy that amazon offers this SoI can use it at home.It is a lovely product. Great flavor, but a hazard.
The freshness of the oregano was amazing, but you have to note that you have to crumble it down and remove the stems, otherwise if you swallow the stems you might be in a choke hazard I didn’t do it correctly and when I was eating my pasta. I ate the stamps and he got stuck in the back of my throat and puncture it like a needle. Every time I was swallowing a puncture me deeper and deeper and I couldn’t breathe. I was choking so rubber in your hands break the same to the minimum it is worth it. You just have to be safe.

This is the best smelling, tasting oregano. I use for pizza making.

pure oregano
i open the bottom of the bag and roll my fingers over the outside of the bloom and get the rightamount of seasoning. If i need more, ill rub the outside of it again. Paper towel and foil on the bottomkeep it ready to use. I can't even believe i thought of it. but my mother in law used to go toCalabria and bring home fresh oregano that we froze. So so good. This is the next best thing. irefrigerate the bunch being used. Last time i froze the unopened dried oregano but i think once its already dried,it is not neccesary. bon appetit!
