Another fun visit with Jess!
Another fun visit with Jessica Fletcher occurs at Thanksgiving, as she invites friends and neighbors, a stranger, and two newcomers, as well as Scottish beau George Sunderland, to her holiday dinner. She and George are getting very close, but he stays with Seth, to maintain Jess's reputation. How cute! When a stranger ends up dead right after eating dinner at Jessica's house, she feels obligated to figure out the mystery, much to Sheriff Metzger's displeasure. I always love these stories when they take place in Cabot Cove, and this one does not disappoint.

Really Like This One
As a long-time fan of Murder, She Wrote, I really like this entry in the series. The plotting was well-paced with a good balance of narration and dialogue. The book came to a satisfying conclusion.

A Thanksgiving no one will soon forget
Excellent as usual . Ms Fletcher does not disappoint the reader. As she enjoys her visit from her Scottish friend she finds all the clues to make it a wonderful but sometimes scary holiday

If you love the TV show you will love these books.
Love this series have to get the rest of them. The same characters we know and love in the TV show are in the book.

Jessica does it again, and in amazing style!
My most favorite part of this book is having George visiting Jessica and Cabot Cove. As for the story and plot, the multiple characters and background are well developed and a pleasure to follow. Various scenes, and the flights, helped to keep everything flowing along smoothly. Surprises around many corners!

A Fine Reading Experience!
Jessica and Donald at their usual well written caper! A cast of characters that's always familiar but also quirky and fun to spend time with.

A Fatal Feast Could Have Been Better
I've been a big fan of Murder She Wrote since day one and got used to the majority of each show being the investigation of a murder and not non-essentials of the story before the murder. Unfortunately, this book, and the last two, spend way too many pages of details unnecessary to the plot. As a result, Jessica's sleuthing gets short-changed and rushed.I favor the books that take place in Cabot Cove since they involve Jessica's close friends Seth and Mort. Interaction with them is kept to a minimum due to visiting Scotland Yard's George, whom Donald Bain introduced awhile back as a potential romantic interest for Jessica. They still can't make up their minds where to take their friendship, which further reduces pages for sleuthing. Seems like the memory of Frank's love promoted in the TV series is now gone. The storyline has good potential. Too bad not all of it made it into the book.

A Feast of a Book!!!
Another great book from the Murder, She Wrote series!!I own all the books from the series and none of them have ever disappointed me, as I really don't take them too seriously and just see them for what they are ... a simple really good read!! As a big fan of the TV series it's just great to read about all these characters you've seen on the TV show, and the author has also captured some of the quirks very well from the TV show (such as whenever Sheriff Mort Metzger talks to Jessica he always refers to her as 'Mrs F' as he always did on the TV show!), so those little touches just add to the overall package for me!! And I particularly enjoy all the stories that are based in Cabot Cove as many of the regular characters from the TV show pop up which also adds to the authenticity.Looking forward to the next book 'Nashville Noir' to be released in April 2010 ....

In this edition of Murder She Wrote Jessica stays home for the holidays and hosts a Thanksgiving dinner. I normally enjoy the stories which take Jessica out of town on an adventure, however with her friend Donald Sutherland coming for a visit, this story line does not disappoint! Another great, easy read!
