Finely crafted, very good sound.
Well-made instrument, good acoustic quality. Electric is an added bonus. May need to slightly lower the action at the bridge.

For the money - pretty darn good
I have been, for some reason that I cant define, a fan of the Talman line of guitars. I have owned 6 over the years and currently have 3. This is my first acoustic Talman, and I was a bit worried about cheapness and intonation on a $200 beater. I was not dissappointed. The setup that came on the guitar is quite usable. The electrics sound OK, maybe a bit honky, but not the tinny sound of a cheapo piezo. The build is solid but minimal. As an acoustic, it sounds ok as the player, but not very loud. The body is quite shallow and small without great resonance. Balance without a strap is typical with the headstock wanting to point down. It will hold tune through an hour of playing and the action is medium light. For the price paid and my need of a beater that I'm not afraid to risk outdoors, this was a good decision.

Learned something new during the pandemic achievement unlocked!
I got a super cheap guitar to make sure I could transition from a baritone ukulele to a guitar. The super cheap guitar did not deter me, I researched and analyzed and finally decided on the Talman. My dog sings along with me for his Bounty commercial jingles we fashioned up for him. I am super happy with this guitar and will play it long in to the future. It is a great guitar for this price point, it was packed well and was in perfect shape. The strings hold their tune and it’s sound resonates with my key.

(2nd Try) Guitar arrived with Lifting Bridge, Damaged Finish
This has now happened TWICE!!!!! I don't know who is doing quality checks for the Adorama delivered guitars but they either need to be fired or have already retired because there is no way these guitars passed a quality check any time recently (any QC check would've showed these flaws.)I ordered the same guitar once before (same vendor) and had the same issue of a lifting bridge. I wasn't sure if it came like that or had happened when getting the guitar into tune. So I chalked it up to the bad luck I often have and am still in the process of returning that one. Thinking it was just a fluke, I ordered the current one you see in the pictures. This one arrived as you see, bridge lifting already and chipped. Somehow, this guitar was in worse condition than the one I got before.I've only heard good things about this guitar and am really upset to have this happen twice. That is just unacceptable. I will be returning this and not trying for a third time. From all I've experienced, this guitar looks sounds and feels absolutely lovely. It is immensely disappointing to have such glaring flaws in an otherwise beautiful guitar.Fix your stuff. People don't want to deal with that.

nice guitar for the price
Nice guitar, looks great. Good action with a nice neck profile. Once the stings were stretched a few times it holds tune pretty well. Acoustic sound is a little shallow/bright for my taste. However, it's OK. Sounds a little better with a small acoustic amp.
