You know, I have to say, of all the random plastic parts I have bought replacements for in the last forty years, this is the most stupendous specimen, exceeding my wildest expectations, and I am proud to offer my humble review. The muted beauty of brown plastic springs to life; it is bold; vivid; sexy. It verily explodes with dull brown color--in this case, illuminating the humble walls of my obscure dwelling as no plastic part has done before. That's a big deal, folks. My entire kitchen (perhaps the universe) seemed to move two inches to the left, the instant I unwrapped my carefully-wrapped coffeemaker part. The best news? It's EXACTLY the same as the last plastic lid I had, minus some hard water stains, which I summarily threw away upon the realization that this coruscating gem of plastic engineering had arrived, and nothing would ever be the same again. Where is the Eldrich factory that produces these resin gems? How do they do it? Why hasn't anyone made a movie about it? It's magic. Don't ask questions. Just be thankful you live in an epoch adorned with sleek, mesmerizing cabochons which one minute seem other-worldly, and the next minute seem like something that doesn't deserve a second glance.

This is an original OEM replacement and a perfect fit for my Moccamaster. I deducted a point because one should not have to replace this component as soon as I had to especially on a product that markets it's build quality.

My original lid fell on the floor, and I stepped on it and broke it. This is a perfect replacement. I think it's too expensive for being just a piece of plastic. But it fits perfectly, so what to do? I won't step on this one.

Förväntar mig ingenting annat av ett original tillbehör. Har lite annan design än mitt tidigare lock men min maskin är sju år gammal.
