I purchased a set of these dice as a gift for my mother, who loves to experiment with new recipes when cooking for other people. The dice are cleanly cut, with words and symbols neatly and legibly printed on them for ease of use. The dice came with a set of instructions, as well, which explained a suggested method of rolling and using the dice to inspire dishes.This particular purchase came with a glass jar to contain the dice and the instructions, with a large cork plug to keep it sealed. It would have looked perfect in the kitchen, sitting on a countertop or in a cupboard, but unfortunately the glass jar's walls were not particularly thick: at some point during shipping, or while sitting at our house before opening it, the glass jar shattered quite spectacularly inside the box.It was obvious that care and effort had been taken by the seller to try and prevent this from happening (the jar was small enough that the contents didn't have much room to rattle and move, and the jar itself was wrapped with quite a bit of bubble-wrap), and I believe the culprit might have been rough handling at some point during shipping. The dice themselves were just fine, and after cleaning up the glass, we just found a different container from around the house to hold them.I'd definitely suggest these dice for those with a palate for culinary adventures, or someone who wants to push themselves to cook more often. If you're worried about the glass jar being damaged during shipping, the seller also offers the dice in a pouch, instead.

I bought these as a graduation gift for my nephew who had recently taken interest in cooking, and he absolutely loved them!They helped spur his creativity in utiilizing different ingredients and techniques than what he was used to! The glass tumbler and dice are very sturdy as well, enuring these will last!

Gave it to a friend for Christmas and he loved it! The item is of great quality and my friend loves the challenge of making something unique with the roll of dice.

Such a cute idea! Roll the dice and see what to make for dinner! Perfect for adding something unique to a gift basket. I would have given this 5 stars but the price is just a little high.

Very nice item, could be gifted. I rolled the dice. I tried a new recipe. Fun way to get out the cooking rut. Makes grocery shopping a scavenger hunt, also breaking the dull routine. I tend to shop for the same thing, each trip. Item is high quality, and delivery was quick. Very satisified.

These are so much fun! We got them for Christmas as a couples gift and I look forward to using them this year.

It comes in a cute glass jar, and shakes like the game “Yahtzee”.It’s very giftable, is a different gift than one would expect. Is small enough to store anywhere in the kitchen and use quickly.
