Another classic everyday watch
Drawn to this timepiece and gotta say, it’s beautiful. If the movement was to be an automatic, even better. Overall, this would be nice for an everyday watch. Feels natural on wrist and genuine leather strap. Feels nice and thick. Exceptional for its price and appreciate the homage.

Well built watch. Solid construction, authentic and attractive. 5-star watch, but 1-star strap.
I love the watch. Fantastic re-creation with very authentic WWII flieger design. Watch is really much more solid and well constructed than I expected. I own 6 watches, some more expensive than this, but this one feels as good as any. I wish they sold this in an Automatic - I would pay the extra. However, this Miyota Quartz movement is pretty high quality. The strap however is a disaster. Thick leather-coated foam pad strap is hard to get clasped and is very uncomfortable. But the strap really doesn't bother me much as I almost always upgrade the strap anyways. Replaced it with a nicer brown leather Barton strap that I had on hand - see pics. With strap upgrade, a very, very nice watch!

very good representation of a piece of history.
This is a very cool timepiece for anyone who has admired the WW2 version of this watch. Its entirely by design and not the fault of the manufacturer but I do find it hard to read quickly, but I believe my brain will train to this eventually. It is a very cool clone of a piece of history at a very affordable price.

Good watch
Attractive and functional, this watch is a great choice for someone looking for a low cost pilot watch.

DO NOT BUY
I was looking forward to a high quality watch and boy was I mistaken. The face is nice, but band is absolute trash, I immediately replaced it. And be careful this watch isn’t as heavy duty as it’s made out to be, primarily the “waterproof” claim. I took the watch fishing and under normal circumstances water made its way into the watch and under the watch face and is not permanently there. I spoke with Amazon about a potential replacement. They told me they couldn’t do anything for me, regardless of the less than true advertising. They said I needed to reach out to the manufacturer, but they couldn’t find any contact info for them. Save your money or buy a different watch from a retailer that stands behind their word.

Awesome replica
As much as I would prefer to have the genuine watch, this is about as close as one can get without spending big dollars. And frankly, if I had the real thing, I would not wear it - it would sit in a display case. So this looks the part and I can wear it daily. Cool piece, quite pleased with it.

I'm having a "situation"......
I had to track down when I bought this beastie to figure out exactly how upset I'm supposed to feel over this. 1st. I bought it on the 1st of Oct '19. 2. The battery is dead [last time I wore it was last summer, so less than a year. 3. Glancing at the price [today] depending on dial color $65~90usd. 4. THIS IS the biggie. the back won't come off [before anyone gets their drawers inna knot] I've done some mods & repairs on a few Value World display watches. I have Some tools, books, whatnot. I've gogld, bingded, yahyelled. you name it. an-Yah, you can OPEN anything, being able to close it back? [doing that, bout 95% almost cross threaded the back on the case ONCE]. I suppose I'd feel better if it only cost $50, you know, closer to $125ish you can find seiko 5 automatic in a serviceable condition. [like the car that looks good across the street, not the sidewalk next to it?] like that. Those units that get done on the wristwatch repair/revival type thing. So disappointed [if I had remembering what I paid for it then I'd be peeved, NO thank you, I'd rather not look it up, get "peeved" and boost my BP]. The times I remember wearing it nothing negative happened mechanically, how it feels on my wrist is nice. The biggie, it looks cool. I'd like to be able to put it in rotation [stupid battery].

Decent watch with a couple problems
This is a decent watch, but it has a few problems. The biggest is that the second hand is black on a black dial, which makes it hard to see during daylight and impossible at night. The next big problem is the lume. Anyone familiar with the Type B Flieger, which is what this watch is a copy of, knows that the lume on those is usually all encompassing. This is limited to the inner circle, not including the numbers, and the hour and minute hand. The movement in this is a Miyota 2034, which isn't anything great. The case back is pressed on, so you're not changing your battery without a case back press.I anticipate the battery life will be somewhere around a year.I don't recall seeing any water resistance claims, but given the push in crown and pressed on case back with no gasket, this watch should be kept dry. One trip to the pool and this thing is almost certainly ruined. This is not a great watch. It is a decent watch. If you want the least expensive Type B Flieger available, this is the watch for you. If you want a watch that is going to last for years, this is probably not the watch for you.
