The decanter is nice and the top is good and seals decently. The reason I gave four stars is it’s really thick and heavy. You can use this thing for a club and it wouldn’t break. Glasses are crystal but really thick also. The crown royal crystal glasses are better quality than these and they were free.

While not the most high-end decanter and glass set in terms of the type/quality of glass, this set makes up for that in appearance alone. I love the shape and feel of these glasses and their corresponding decanter; it's so interesting and, in my opinion, more "fun" to use and hold than more standard crystal glasses. The decanter itself is a good weight and there is a decent seal, too. I have not experienced any condensation in my decanter (which I, unfortunately, do with my mother-in-law's crystal decanter she gifted me!). It looks great on the table and is a real talking piece when guests visit. Additionally, this set is packaged so well and so nicely that it is highly giftable. I really recommend this product.

This KANARS Crystal Whiskey Glass Decanter Set comes in a nice giftable hard box. The glassware is packed very securely to prevent breakage during transit. Both the decanter and the glasses feel thick and heavy, very satisfying. It has a decidedly fresh, contemporary appearance, but nothing too crazy so it's still elegant.I like how the decanter is tapered toward the top. This makes it very easy to grab, plus it looks awesome. The top is also nicely styled and fits snug into the decanter. I'm no an expert in glass, so I can't say for sure whether this is genuine hand-blown crystal glass or just a look-alike. But it is pretty clear and sparkling and there are no major occlusions like bubbles inside. So this is well down and it does enhance the drinking experience. Full marks from me!

This gift boxed KANARS Crystal Whiskey Glass Decanter Set looks well on the drinks table and would make a very nice gift - except to those who know and appreciate fine crystal. It hasn't the fire. clarity or cut of my existing crystal and the price indicates that. For a set like that of fine crystal the price would easily be tripled.I have to say I was somewhat disappointed. The glasses are thick and heavy and look more like ordinary glass than crystal, although to be fair, what I am comparing it to is vintage lead crystal. This is unleaded.I would use it at home for everyday use or offer as a gift to those less discerning or newlyweds just starting out. It's a lovely set and would be well appreciated.

My box came a bit crushed but inside everything was perfectly intact. I can 100% say this is giftable. Thinking about buying another set for my husbands boss for our Christmas dinner.
