Stylish and Sturdy Vintage Ceiling Pendant Light Fittings
I recently installed the 2 Pack E27 Bronze Vintage Style Ceiling Rose Light Fitting Kits in my living room, and I’m absolutely delighted with the results. These fittings are not only stylish but also incredibly sturdy. The bronze finish adds a classic touch, perfectly complementing the vintage decor of the room. The fittings come with a 90cm braided cable, which gives them a high-quality feel and allows for easy adjustments to the height of the lights. I also appreciated the inclusion of a ground wire, which adds an extra layer of safety. Installation was straightforward, and the fittings securely hold the bulbs without any wobbling or issues. These light fittings have transformed the ambience of my living space, providing a warm and inviting glow. Whether you're looking to add a touch of vintage charm to your home or need a reliable and stylish light fitting, this set is an excellent choice. Highly recommended for both aesthetics and functionality!

Light installation
Very nice piece , cable length was a bit long but was able to cut it to the size I needed and it works perfectly in the room I needed it for. Easy to install and screws were good quality. I’m using a rechargeable bulb so I can’t give a light quality and brightness comment. Would recommend due to the colour

Was exactly as advertised
Love the finish and the ease in adjusting the length, the only criticism is the ceiling rose is a bit on the thin side , but apart from that exactly what I wanted

Play it safer - go to B&Q (other DIY stores are available...)
I'm sorely tempted to return this on the basis that the quality of the electrical fittings probably doesn't meet the requirements for selling into the British market. Cheaply made, not safe in my opinion. Can be made safe(er) but requires extra effort that the general DIYer (no offence intended) might not be aware of or able to do.My comments:1) There's no earth connection to the light holder - this poses a danger as there's no easy way of telling what the quality of the electrical connections are within the light holder. It may be 'double insulated' and therefore not require an earth but do I trust the inner wiring? Based on the general quality of this item (see below) - no.2) The supplied Earth wire appears to be << 0.5mm^2 making it not suitable for screw fittings. It's barely suitable for a WAGO 24A push-fit (0.6mm min), but only if twisted and doubled-over and even that's pushing it. Interestingly, the wire strands were so thin (hair-like!) that they'd not even twist together to form a tougher cable.3) The supplied flex is very thin - not as thin as the Earth wire but still too thin to make a reliable connection with a screw fitting. I use thicker wire for low-voltage electronics, this is crazy thin for a 240V 6A lighting circuit. Doubled-up, it's just about ok in a WAGO 24A push-fit connector. The minimum conductor size for a flex to a lamp holder is 0.75mm^2 (I think). I'm not convinced the flex in this product meets that requirement. The earth wire certainly doesn't!4) The metal forming the ceiling rose and fixing bracket is very thin. The bracket is also sharp-edged and poses a risk to the thin flex, potentially leading to earth faults - assuming that the Earth connection works...5) The Earth connection is poor. A thin brass/copper washer crimped to a very thin cable (see above) is tightened between a nut and the inside surface of the ceiling rose to form the earth connection. But the ceiling rose is varnished so the surface is not conductive - therefore an Earth connection won't be present unless you sand the varnish away first...6) Not supplied with any connection block to connect to the lighting supply cable in the ceiling. Screw terminals should be avoided (wire too thin!) - use WAGO 24A series lighting connectors or similar.7) No cable relief... (actually quite common in fittings like this but...) The thin flex on this fitting will be typically connected to 1.0 or 1.5mm solid core cable. This cable doesn't bend easily so there's a risk that the final assembly could leave tension between the crazy thin flex and the not-easily yielding lighting cable within the ceiling - leading to connections that could fail over time - not good!General impression - cheaply made, poorly designed, dangerous maybe, if not fitted with due care and attention. Do yourself a favor and go and get one from B&Q (or similar) where the quality is better. If in doubt, get a qualified electrician to fit it.Looking at all that, I think i've made up my mind - Amazon, sorry but i'll be returning this item.MC

Vintage
Vintage looking without the vintage high price. Love the look. For me it was easy to install. It is a light fitting so make sure things are turned off before working with electricity. Correct screws for the job.

Product arrived marked with small dents.
Sadly both products were marked and slightly dented. I had shortened the cabling before realising so have kept and fitted these, but slightly disappointed with the quality. Given the price I would say these are good value for money, just not top quality.

PERFECT
Really lovely colour -- we ordered the BRONZE which is a perfect "in between" colour that works well with our antique brass doorknobs, but also some of the chrome fittings in our renovated Georgian home. Very easy to install with an adjustable length cord for different ceiling heights. Highly recommend.

Nice quality double set of fittings
I wanted to switch out my light fittings so I could add a dome style light in a living room and bedroom so this kit seemed to fit the bill.Easy to fit and a good length so I was pleased as I've never done anything like this before. Good quality and a lovely colour.
