LOCK & LOCK Airtight Container

Lock and Lock is the best product. I have an egg keeper but opted to purchase another.

I’ve been using this type for over 5 years.They keep eggs fresh and secure in the container, work well for Xl/jumbo sizes too, and — once the butt nuggets are transferred from those nasty, germ-ridden containers at the grocery store — eliminate disgusting stuff from contaminating your fridge’s contents too! The containers also stack beautifully in the fridge.I currently have an 18-count Lock n Lock for my fresh eggs and love it!However, for my hard-boiled eggs, I’ve been storing them in an inferior, plastic, hinged-lid, 12-count container….they are spoiling faster than we eat them in that POS storer.As bird flu has driven the price of eggs back up to near COVID prices, I refuse to waste the ones I’ve paid a nice sum for and took the time to boil.Soooo, since I like these so much, I just bought another 18-count Lock n Lock for my HB eggs as well.

We got this egg holder for our annual camping trip. It holds 18 eggs, which was more than enough for 2 of us for the 6-day trip. It worked perfectly, keeping the eggs fresh and dry, even as our cooler was more water-logged later in the week. The lid closures are easy to use and worked very well, no struggles getting them closed or open, and the seal is strong. The plastic is thicker than I'd anticipated, which adds to the coverage - I dropped the whole case about 4 feet to the ground, and only 1 egg broke. That egg goo did not leak into any of the other egg compartments, which made it easy to wipe out and clean by itself. The entire unit is easy to clean as well, and cleaning the rubber seal was not a challenge (as it often can be). My husband was dubious, as I'd purchased a really cheap variety in the past, but this one stays in the camping box, as it did its job really well. The price was worth the quality, for sure.

Purchased 2 with 18 egg capacity in 2020. My granddaughter just burned one up by accidentally turning on electric stove burner. At the time it seems like Amazon only offered the 12 egg capacity. So I googled for the 18 egg capacity. Found them on QVC with 2 18 egg capacity for $13.99 and they came with colored lids (clear bottoms). What a find! I just love these Lock & Lock egg containers so much I am looking to see what other offerings Lock & Lock has. We go through a lot of eggs in our family. Buy these egg containers and you won't look back. I put mine in top rack of dishwasher and they held up well. I just can't say enough good things about these.

Love this container for my eggs and the fact that it holds 18. I followed the recommendations from other reviews and put the cabinet bumper sticky dots inside each individual egg holder and it does make it easier to remove the eggs out of the container. I like that the lid locks and stays in place. I did notice that the lid does accumulate condensation, but I haven’t noticed it affecting the quality or preservation of the eggs inside the container.

Bought this after I saw my mother had a similar one. I had been trying to find it in stores but no luck. I decided to get the larger one even though I thought I would never go through that many eggs. I am glad I went with the larger one as it gives me room for not only the raw eggs but also a little room for my hard boiled eggs. I have dropped it only a couple of times - from the bottom shelf of the fridge to the cushioned kitchen mat I keep in front of my fridge for those exact reasons - and thankfully nothing broke on the container nor inside. All the other egg containers had lids that just sat on top and didn't latch or lock and made of harder plastic that would crack in a second. I prefer this one since I know I can place something flat on top of this and if I pull that item out of the fridge and the egg container comes out too, the contents are safe.
