Mini Starter Kit

First off, I am not a professional face painter, by any means! However, when it comes to Halloween, we go all out for our costumes and makeup. For several years, I used the giant eye pencils for the majority of our Halloween makeup, as the store-bought grease paint was just not going to cut it! The eye pencils allowed for full coverage, dried quickly, and allowed for layering with other shadows and liners. However, there were also impractical, with all of the sharpening, and they could easily get expensive. So, I began looking for an alternative, without having to invest in expensive professional makeup. A few years ago, I took a chance on one black and one white Snazaroo container, after reading lots of positive reviews. I was surprised to find that it was even better than I'd hoped! It is so easy to use Snazaroo face paints. You just need water, a sponge, and a paintbrush. Depending on the amount of water you use, it can go on really thin or pretty thick. I tend to go thin and repeat several layers, until I reach the desired color and coverage. This paint dries within seconds, so layering and blending is not an issue. It can be challenging to paint light colors over dark, which is to be expected. I try to do the light sections before the dark. With a good paintbrush, it is easy to paint intricate details- which was a really important consideration for us. It is also important to note that this paint is water-based. This means that it is extremely breathable and washes off easily (practically rinses off). I usually have this on my face for several hours at a time, and it is really durable. Obviously, it wears off of your lips when you eat or drink, so minor touch-ups might be necessary. This paint is extremely high quality and the colors are vibrant. The amount of paint you get per cake provides a really great value- especially considering I used to spend the same amount per jumbo eye pencil! We get countless compliments every year, and many ask where we get our makeup done. You cannot go wrong with Snazaroo! Lastly, and most importantly, is the safety of these paints. We all have pretty sensitive skin, and try to stay away from most fragrances, artificial colors, and other irritating ingredients. However, no one in the family has experienced any negative reactions to this paint. We won't use anything other than Snazaroo! This kit was a great way for us to start our collection- and we have continued to add to it each year. We know that it will serve us well for years to come!

A friend of mine paints faces as a side income at fairs, school activities etc. She is amazing! I asked her what kind of face paint she used and she said, "I only use Snazaroo face paint" I asked her why and she said it was gentler on the skin, lasted long on the face, washed off easy, and the product goes a long way. So when I needed some face paint this is what I got. I LOVE IT! For all the same reasons she stated. It is easy to work with and I have been very happy with it. I have even taken my snazaroo paints to my daughters school and face painted the kids faces for a classroom party. I would recommend watching some youtube videos to learn some quick and easy tips on how to apply face paint for great results.

I bought this kit on a whim to use over the holidays. My kids, nieces, and nephews thought it was so fun to get their faces painted. I've never painted faces before, and thought this was very easy to use and went on really smooth. It's not the "greasy" sort of cheap paint you buy at the drugstore on Halloween, it actually dries and stays on kids' faces very well (yet, washes off easily). There's plenty of product, and is a perfect starter kit if you want to paint faces at a birthday party, picnic, Halloween, or any other type of event. For basic designs, you don't need anything more than what's in the box. After the holidays, I decided to purchase an extra pan of bright pink, and some sparkly body glitter, since the girls tend to want princesses and butterflies. I'll probably eventually add a pan of purple, too.

I got this as my first face painting kit! I loved the cakes and the brushes, this really helped me to get started in face painting. The sponges are amazing. FYI instead of using them whole, take a sharp pair of scissors and cut them in half and they will go a lot longer. I love em. The book was a great addition too so that you can attempt different faces. I would however if you are first starting out do the ones that don't require intricate detail as you have to learn how to use the brush to get different looks. But for me it was nice to see what to aspire too. I would recommend this to a newbie and then once you've mastered this try other face painting products.

Excellent on the paints. Not satisfied with the carry-kit which was poorly built. Satisfied with the manual.

This face paint set is great for learners my 8-year-old and 4-year-old love painting each other's faces. This product is easy to apply and clean off. Great value

I received a couple damaged pots of paints which is why I did not give this product a 5 star rating. The product was reasonably priced and that greatly influenced my decision to buy it. It contained all the basic colours I wanted and simple instructions for beginners. The paint is easily removed from the skin and doesn't stain my daughter's face. I bought this set to be able to paint my daughter's face and allow her to paint her own designs since she kept using any marker or pen to do so. It is a great starter kit.

The box is sturdy and has a nice carrying handle. The space inside is plentiful. The sponges wash well and are reusable, I cut one in half and will likely cut the second into quarters. The glitter is a liquid/gooey texture to be painted on, it is not shaking glitter in case you are wondering. The instruction book is helpful. I like the quality of the paint, the colors are vibrant, the basic colors are included that are necessary for color mixing, Just add water!

Me encantan estas pinturas, vienen los colores básicos, suficiente para hacer muchos pintacaras diferentes. Esta pintura es muy buena porque es indicada para niños con la piel sensible, por lo que no les hace daño y pueden maquillarse como el resto. Se les quita muy fácilmente con agua y jabón, aunque cuando yo les estoy maquillando si necesito borrar algo con una toallita húmeda me sirve y se quita muy bien. Este producto es muy bueno y dura mucho tiempo, volvería a comprarlo. Por cierto, viene bien empaquetado y la caja está muy chula, un buen sitio donde tenerlo todo guardado. Y el "manual" de pintacaras está muy bien también, con nuevas ideas. Y los pinceles son pequeños, pero útiles en caras pequeñitas.

the face paint is really good but the price too much for only 6 colors 2 sponges 3 brushes and glitter

Mi sono trovata molto bene, veramente un bel kit compreso di valigetta colori e pennelli buonissimi, lo consiglio per chi vuole fare bei lavori di trucca bimbi.

Es ideal para principiantes, la pintura es de buena calidad y sumamente fácil de remover. Solo necesitas una toalla húmeda o un poco de agua. Es de hecho su facilidad para ser removida uno de sus puntos en contra. Si la persona a la que le pintas el rostro suda un poco, lo más mínimo, adiós pintura. Me agrada que haya sido aprobada para uso en niños, no he recibido comentario alguno de que irrite o moleste, de las personas a las que les he pintado el rostro. En resumen, buen kit para principiantes, un poco difícil de usar para dar detalles y se cae con mucha facilidad.
