This is a feather weight!
I got this to replace the poorly designed wind guard on our Jetboil Genesis Basecamp stove, which melted. This one is compact and WAY more durable than I thought it would be for the price! Long story short, it's a winner!

VG Quality. Good Gauge Sheet Metal. Nice Plastic Case. Only 9.5" Tall. Wish It Were Taller.
Purchased on 11-13-2023 for $18.70 - $0.94 (5% discount). This review is for the 9.5" tall, 10-panel wind screen. Another quality camping accessory from CAMPINGMOON.In addition to this, I have their medium and small grills, charcoal chimney starter, skewer set, and grate handle. Their products are more expensive, but the quality is noticeably better, so I'm okay with paying a little more. This is a nicely made wind screen.- The finish of the panels is very clean and attractive. It's closer to being matte than glossy. The brand name and logo are embossed toward the top of the end panels. It's a brownish-copper color. The shade is closest to the end panels on the last (seventh) product picture from the manufacturer.- The gauge (thickness) of the sheet metal is better than I expected. At the center of a panel, when I push with my thumb and apply some pressure (2-3 psi), it doesn't buckle, collapse, or crease. It does bow some, but rebounds back. It's definitely NOT flimsy. I would say that it's probably a bit thicker and stronger than the "tear-away top" on Campbell's aluminum soup cans.- The hinge pins at the ends function as stakes, and they can be impaled into the ground to hold up the screen. However, you're limited to a stabbing depth of ONLY 5/8", which is NOT deep enough to be a secure anchor in sand or loose soil.- The stabbing end of the stake has been pressed flat. This makes the stake "captive." It's good because you'll never lose it, but it's bad because you can't remove it to connect additional panels or a second set. (You could file/grind the flared flat spot to make the stake removable or you could remove hinge pins on panels that aren't at the ends, but I shouldn't have to and resort to those work-arounds.)- The rest of the hinge pins are not captive, but they're not so loose that they fall out from gravity. To remove, they'll need to be punched out.The storage case is a really nice touch. Once inside, the hard plastic protects the screen from being dinged, bent, and/or damaged from careless or cavalier handling. But, there's always a but...- The wide sides of the case bow inward (concave), as is common with unreinforced plastic. Depending on how much bowing there is, it could make inserting the screen less easy---I didn't want to say *difficult.* On the one I received, it's okay. YMMV.- Because of the inward bowing, the edge of the lip at the four corners of the mouth snags the hinge "knuckles" of the panels and causes an annoying stop-and-go insertion. If the case were made a little larger with more width and depth, the improved clearance would reduce/eliminate the snags. (A DIY fix would be to shave/sand/grind the inside edge of the mouth and "soften" the texture of the inner lip by removing sharp, angular plastic. You want to round off the edge and make it smooth to eliminate "barbs" that can grab the hinge knuckles.)There is a bunch of other wind screens that are much less expensive, but the common refrain in their reviews was that they're thin, flimsy, and easily damaged. Also, they only came with cloth, storage bags.I'm glad I paid more and selected this over the cheaper ones.Just wish that they'd offer a taller version. One that would be tall enough for bottletop propane stoves. It's the little things that make a product deserving of a 5-Star rating instead of a 4-Star. The hiccups with the stakes only having an impaling depth of 5/8" and the snagging case are why I downgraded from 5 to 4.In spite of my rating downgrade, if you are wanting this type of a wind screen, I would recommend that you pay the higher price and purchase this over the others.Lastly, make sure it sinks in that this wind screen is *only* 9.5" tall. It's for use with ground-hugging stoves and cassette-type butane/propane stoves. It's too short for use with "bottletop" burners that are screwed onto disposable 1-lb propane tanks.BTW, this wind screen is RETURNABLE. For some reason, almost all of the other cheaper screens are NOT returnable because they're MISCLASSIFIED as being "hazmat." Likewise, a bunch of camping stoves/burners that do NOT ship with any fuel are also "hazmat." Somehow, it appears that they've been coded in the same classification with flammable fuel. Why? I have no idea. Can you hear me, Amazon Customer Service? You should look into this.

Large and sturdy
This is a pretty nice unit. Better than anticipated.. i have used it with my alcohol stove as well as my small wood stove. It slows down wood consumption nicely and focuses heat much better. Well worth the money

Effective and very easy to use
Sturdy and a snap to set up, effective at blocking wind while allowing enough air circulation to not cause overheating of fuel can. The little sliding pegs at each end work well at aiding positioning. I think a bit heavy for backpacking but perfect for car camping. Glad I got taller size as better protection especially for larger fuel cans. Nice to have the protective case for storage.

Good splatter guard for indoor use
I got this 9.5” x 32” wind screen to use in my kitchen as a splatter guard. It works very well on my coil burner electric stove. The anodized surfaces are easy to clean. The plastic sheath is plenty sturdy and is a great accessory. It’s a bit of a snug fit, however, requiring you to jiggle the screen as you remove or insert it. But it’s fine. The thickness of the panels seems to me to be the minimum you’d want to have. I would have preferred them to be a bit thicker since I’m not using this for backpacking and hand washing will be exposing it to repeated pressure. It remains to be seen if it will get bent out of shape. It’s probably fine. If you’re unsure about whether you like the copper color, I can assure you: you’ll like it. I should have had one of these ages ago!

Works great
Very nicely made. Folds easily and has integrated spikes that hold in position. If real windy and on a smooth surface, it does move around. I used for a table top solo stove, backpacking stove and propane stove outside camper.

A windscreen that blocks the wind. Novel idea.
No issues. Works as it should. Weight with box is 6 oz.

Ment for short camp stoves
Check the height of your set up before you buy one, it's perfect to my stove that has a line to the fuel but my Jetboil sits a little to high even with the smallest can I can find. Could also be used to help block the wind when starting a fire. Comes in a nice hard plastic case and has a nice finish on it.

Its lost
I have owned 2 of this product before buying it and it is very good, quality is better than most of its kind, I trusted this product so I bought a third one, but it was lost on the road, which is a little unpleasant , but thankfully Amazon handled it promptly and I got a full refund. It should have got my 5 stars, but now I can only give 3 stars because of the negligence in some part that cost both buyers and sellers.

smaller than expected
it is thin and light but the height is smaller than I expected. I should've check the dimension before I ordered. But it still works.

Thumbs up
Exactly as advertised. Works well with my set up. Check the height of intended stove(s) to ensure effective pairing!

Weight is 353 gm with heavy case
The wind screen itself is 268 gm. So adding 85 gm is significant for backcountry camping. The sturdy case was why I bought this particular model. Still the lightest on Amazon. Decent construction. Have not used yet. Will edit review when I do.
