This is a better alternative for me than using As Seen on TV dryer balls and dryer sheets. These wool dryer balls are not loud in the dryer. It does a good job with fluffing up clothes and making them wrinkle-free. I think the wool dryer balls have a little smell, but the smell does not transfer to the clothes. I did not see an increase in lint inside the lint trap or on the clothes after using these dryer balls.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Love these balls. They help keep things less wrinkled ( like sheets) and things seem to dry completely. They do make a little noise and sometimes get stuck in contour sheets or sleeves of clothes.

I've been using dryer balls for the past year or so. They soften clothes, help to reduce wrinkles and static cling, decrease drying time a bit, eliminate the need for other products like dryer sheets, and are a better environmental choice. Prior to this purchase, the set I had been using were some that I made and felted myself with roving yarn. I've determined that these work just as well as my beloved DIY dryer balls. They do come with a storage bag, but I prefer to place them in a little basket on top of the dryer. Easy to grab/put away that way...plus, they look cute! I do have another similar set of dryer balls of a different brand as well that I had gotten a few weeks before I got these. Even though I love that set, I prefer these even more. That said, they do add a bit of noise to the drying cycle, but I don't mind that given the benefits they offer.One thing worth mentioning is that if you are going to use essential oils on the balls to add scent to your laundry, you should use the air/fluff setting rather than heat when drying loads to preserve the full integrity of the oils. This wasn't something I was aware of until recently and I've been using essential oils on my dryer balls (apparently the wrong way) for quite some time, so I was grateful for the new knowledge.These would make a great gift idea for someone, especially in combination with an essential oil or two. They're something even someone who has just about everything and/or is hard to buy for could make good, practical use of and yet trendy and sweet as well. Additionally, they're great for any size family or even singles, as the amount of balls you use is based on load size.I really appreciate that they offer the balls in both white and black -- that's the first time I've seen this, but it makes total sense. I hope to add a set of the black dryer balls to my collection soon as I'd love to have them on hand to use with dark loads. These are very nice quality, well made dryer balls. They are average size -- about the size of a tennis ball. There are so many benefits to them -- you'll not be disappointed.Like you, I rely on reviews when selecting products to purchase. These 6 perfect little dryer balls cut my drying time down by a third!! They tumbler around the dryer fluffing and separating my clothes so I can dry for about 12 less minutes! It's saving my money on my electricity bill and saving me money on dryer sheets! I like to put a drop of essential oils on my dryer balls to scent my laundry.
