This quickly explains relatively thoroughly a lot of good things for using Gmail that anyone can find very useful. The only downside is perhaps there is more to gmail, but for essential organizing and time saving this thing is good to reference.

The information contained may have been very much on point in 2015 when it was published. In 2021, though, it’s entirely irrelevant and has no place on retailers’ shelves or in their warehouses. Let’s get with the times!

"Email Management Using Gmail: Getting Things Done by Decluttering and Organizing Your Inbox With Email Organization Tips For Business and Home" provides an accessible guide to ending "inbox creep", something that every Gmail user has to face. As a Gmail user I have gained an toolset that keep my inbox clean at the end of the day (aka "the ultimate goal of every Gmail user"), but this book added a few more updated tricks that I wasn't aware of-recoverig contacts, the "remove formatting" button, and the ability to change the labels. (One really good resource that I haven't heard of was unroll.me)The book is geared more toward beginners who need help understanding the basics of email filtering to conquer their inbox. It is short, but goes straight to the point, and provides helpful screenshots to guide readers to their destination. It isn't recommended for absolute Gmail newbies, however, but people who are comfortable using Gmail, but want to handle their email. The book provides an excellent foundation for getting started in that direction.Note: This review was based on a PDF copy made available for review
