A lot of people here are describing this necklace as “dainty.” They are wrong. This is not a dainty necklace. It’s not bulky, but I was really expecting a thinner, more delicate piece similar to my Zales chain, which is considerably more dainty and delicate. In the second photo, my white gold Zales chain is on top and the sterling silver chain is below with the pendant attached. The sterling silver chain feels solid and is shiny, but I will not wear it for long. I miss the actual daintiness and lighter color of my Zales chain.*UPDATE* I had written a different review when I had immediately opened the box and compared this Honolulu chain to my Zales chain. Yes, they are different, but after wearing the Honolulu chain for a whole week, I must say, I absolutely love it. I like it more every day. Every single time I pass by a mirror, I am amazed at how shiny and beautiful the chain is. It truly stands out and looks expensive. I originally gave this item 4 stars, but I cannot deny its beauty. It is worth every penny. 5 stars! I only wish I would have purchased a slightly longer chain. I'd like it to hang lower. I will be purchasing the next size up soon!

I was very impressed with the packaging of this chain & while the chain itself is simple, it was exactly what I was looking for. I bought a necklace YEARS ago at Whole Foods that had a similar chain with a swirl pendant that said "what come around goes around" on it. Ultimately after a few years, the chain broke, so I've been wanting to find a simple silver chain to replace it so I can wear the pendant again. A 1mm chain is delicate, so if you are like another reviewer here who has a baby who still pulls on your jewelry, I wouldn't buy it. But I was specifically looking for a delicate chain, so I bought the 1mm hoping it would be just right ... and it is. And I was very impressed by how carefully & professionally this chain was packaged for such a low-cost item. I mean the chain probably doesn't cost a lot to manufacture, but still the detail with which it was packaged gave me a really good impression of The Honolulu Jewelry Company who I'd never purchased anything from before. So smart business on their part because I'll definitely favor them over other sellers in the future because you assume that when care is taken in one area, care is probably taken in other areas too. Like a fix-it guy who has a clean, organized truck ... it just reflects well on how they run their business.

I was hesitant to purchase this necklace because it was so reasonably priced, but I read the reviews and decided to give it a chance. Glad I did! It is perfect for my cross. The length is perfect and the shine is still awesome. I wear it 24hrs a day! The shipping was fast and was packaged nicely, no knots or anything. I love it! Thank you! Even when it says it on the description, you don't realize how thin it really is. It looks like it is fragile. Once again I reminded of dont judge a book by its cover. I wont say you can pull a truck with it. The chain is sturdy and it looks really good. A small pendant goes great with it. I would recommend this chain needed to add to your collection or replace. It is a great gift idea. I found a nice pendant to go with it. Scored points with the wife , especially cause it was not a gift for her birthday or anniversary.

I bought two of these chains, and one unfortunately snapped after only about two weeks :( However, I blame myself a little bit because I tugged on it too hard while I was changing, and I also wear it everyday. The other one is holding up very well though, although I don't wear it as often. Regardless, I bought another one because it's exactly what I'm looking for, and it really is good quality for the price. All dainty, silver chains I've had usually end up snapping eventually, so I like that I have these to buy every time one does. Thanks so much!

Product quality was fine enough, but the 24” chain was actually over 26” long. Too long for what I wanted.

I broke my chain on my "good luck" necklace and was worried it would take a while to get a replacement but went to Honolulu and found almost the identical chain.....I ordered it, the price was good and I expected it to take a while to get but ...WOW....I got it in 2 days!.....The chain came in a pretty little box, neat and not tangled, and it fit my necklace perfectly! I was amazed at the delivery time! I was amazed with the chain. It isn't as thick as the one I had on it before, but it does appear to be sturdy looking and I would highly recommend this company to you!....They did a great job!
