Ladder Leveler Stabilizer (KeyLok® Quick Connect Style) Complete Kit

Do you remember the days when you bought something, it came with all the parts you need in the box, and it worked exactly as described? Neither do I but this has restored my faith in USA manufacturing. This attached pretty easily to my ladder and 5 minutes later I was cleaning the gutters on my sloping lot with more confidence than I can ever remember. I was able to do it alone, without having to yell at my wife and in about one third the time I usually take trying to move the ladder and all my bits of wood around. It adds very little extra weight to the ladder itself because the strong heavy part detaches and reattaches easily. All the parts you need to attach it are included, it's super well packaged, and it works flawlessly. I reckon the people who work at Levelok would be proud to go to work each day. Don't waste your time on the cheaper options. This thing is worth twice the price. One other point -go to their website to watch the installation video - not youtube.

This is a solid product. I hate putting up christmas lights since our yard is far from flat. With this, it was not big deal. I expected it to make a difference when the ground was really unlevel, but I did not realize what a difference it would make when it was only a matter of an inch or two. The ladder sits solidly on the ground and everything is easier as a result. Switching the device from one side of the ladder to the other is not too hard. I'm very glad I sprung for this, it's expensive but I really like it.

Great invention. Easy to use and install. Love the quick release and ratchet system. It felt very sturdy and well made. My first time using it was on a soft dirt hill about 25 feet up on a ladder to adjust my floodlight settings. It really kept the ladder very stabilized, even and firm on that slope as if on a leveled ground. I felt very secured. Awesome product! I'm so sold on it that I'm going to get another pair.

I have the Little Giant 6"' ladder that the back section flips up to be an extension ladder allowing me to get into attic accesses easily, but only up to ceiling heights of 9'. Some people have 10' ceilings and the ladder won't work unless it is right next to a wall which most aren't.So I purchased 2 of these kits to attach to my 6' Little Giant ladder and when I have a 10' ceiling attic access I pop these on and it allows the ladder to extend into the attic access a few inches which allows me to climb in.The reason for 4 stars is the ladder is heavier all the time with the attached pieces that always stay attached. not their fault but still annoying.

I don't write many reviews. But I just had to for this product. This is the best thing since sliced bread. I am renovating my house and needed to work on the roof of my garage. But the only place I could use a ladder was on the sloped driveway leading up to the garage. Needless to say it was not very safe. In the past I've had to ask for help from neighbors or friends, which is not always convenient. Not anymore. I've installed these on my Louisville ladder and wow. I'm very impressed. I was so impressed. I brought two!! One for my extension ladder and one for an A frame ladder. Both are Louisville ladders.The only down side to this product is the price. The Levelok LL-STB-2QC is not cheap. But they are very well made. They also meet ANSI and OSHA safety requirements. And if you think about it. Isn't your safety worth it? Possibly falling down by using a cheaper product is not worth the risk. The only other thing I'd like to add is read the printed instructions AND watch the installation videos. I love this product. It was easy to install the brackets onto my ladder. The instructions are straight forward to follow. I like the ease of how I can set it to the height I need with my foot to offset the slope of the ground. It is a heavy duty unit and well worth the investment to buy. It's sturdy, easy to use. I could of gone cheaper with something else but why? Something else cheaper may fail prematurely and suffer injury and big hospital bill or crippled. No way. This unit is sturdy and strong.

I purchased this so that I could more safely paint my house by myself. One side of my house is on a slope that’s enough of a drop to make using an extension ladder sketchy. I had been placing a paver brick or cement block under the downhill foot of the ladder, but being up 20-25 feet it seemed like I was in contention for the Darwin award…so I used my prefrontal cortex and sought out this leveling thing.It took a minute to make sure I was purchasing the right product that would fit onto my ladder…and I got it right!! It took another minute to follow the instructions on the youtube, measure correctly, check that I measured correctly, drill holes in my ladder, glue some metal shims together and glue them to the metal bracket, then bolt everything on. It worked!!It is pretty easy to use, has been solid, and hasn’t let me down. I was able to paint the whole side of the house on a slope without too much trouble. Could not have done it safely without the ladder leveler.

Installation was perfect as I followed the directions, which are pretty straightforward if you have the basic mechanical abilities. The provided hardware was complete and of good quality. Best of all, the Levelok works perfectly. It is easy to adjust to the precise needed height, it is very stable, and it is easy to change to the opposite side as needed. I can't belief that I fussed with blocks of wood, bricks and other attempts to level my ladder which were much less safe than this accessory, as there is little level ground and many steps on my property. It's about time I solved that problem.
