I've been using the Silpat Premium Non-Stick Silicone Baking Mat for a while now, and I can confidently say it lives up to its reputation. The quality is outstanding — it feels durable, lays perfectly flat, and has held up beautifully after multiple uses. While it's definitely on the pricier side compared to generic silicone mats, I believe it's worth the investment. Unlike other mats I've tried, I've never had issues with staining, odors, or oil leaking underneath. It consistently delivers even baking results and makes cleanup incredibly easy. If you're looking for a reliable, long-lasting baking mat that truly performs, the Silpat is a solid choice.

I purchased these Silpat Baking Sheets back in 2004 as a present for my wife, and they are still going strong today. After years of regular use, literally 1000's of cookies, they remain nonstick, easy to clean, and incredibly reliable. It has saved countless batches of cookies from burning or sticking and has easily outperformed disposable parchment paper. The durability alone makes it worth the investment—this is one of those rare kitchen tools that truly lasts a lifetime.

These are the best. Lightweight , easy cleanup , pleasant appearance? , although I try to spend as little time in the oven as possible and they work great and don't affect browning either (on the bottom).

I have owned my Silpat mats for over 10 years now. SILPAT is the brand you want. It was made in France and is a silicone mesh, very well made. The first thing you do when you get it is wash it with dish detergent. The second thing you do is put it on a pan alone in the oven for 350F. It needs to outgas for the first time. After that first time, the only thing you do is make sure your temp is not too high, and DO NOT CUT ON IT... The only way I lost my mats was when someone tried to cut the food item while still on the mat. If you cut it, you need to throw it away. I cannot remember a time now, when I do not bake cookies or bread without my SILPAT. Doing otherwise is just silly to me now. I also use it for rolling out cookie dough or biscuit dough on the table. Nothing sticks to it. The food comes right off. The wash is a simple detergent wipe and rinse. Mine has minimal residue from over a decade of baking, but it has not harmed the performance one bit. I roll it up when dry and stick it in the drawer. I would NOT buy another brand, even if it cost half as much. SILPAT from France is one brand I am comfortable with as safe and WELL worth the money. (And I might add that the price has not gone up in those ten years....)

This mat saves me a lot of cleaning of baking sheets. My cookies and scones come off easily, it cleans easily and dries fast.

Awesome performance, period. You can expect total non-stick and very even, consistent browning on the bottom when these are used with a good quality all-aluminum half-sheet pan. The only downside is the transference of flavors. I baked a beautiful batch of CC cookies, then washed the mat in warm soapy water in the sink, rinsed and let dry in rack. About 3 days later, I baked Kaiser rolls on the same mats. Again, beautiful browning result. However, the rolls all had a distinctive chocolatey-sweet taste in the bottom crust. I checked the mats, and indeed, even after washing, they still smelled like cookies! I popped them in the dishwasher, top rack using an UN-scented dishwashing detergent, and that eradicated the smell completely. The silicone in silicone mats behaves like a fat or oil. That is what ensures the anti-stick properties. "Like dissolves like" so if you are baking something that contains flavored fats, like chocolate chips, you can expect some transfer of flavor to the mat. Just be aware of that. They are top rack dishwasher safe, but make certain you do not use scented dishwasher tabs when you wash, or the scent will also transfer to the silicone.

Este silpat lo compré para reponer uno que tenía desde hace muchos años y que despareció de mi casa hace unos meses. El anterior lo había comprado en USA y este es exactamente igual. Estoy feliz porque sé que es un excelente producto.

Super Silikonmatte ,ist zwar nicht ganz billig aber sowas von geil .Wer die nicht kauft ist selber schuld. Es ist kein putzen mehr angesagt im Ofen einfach Silikonmatte spülen ruck zug fertig. Also Leute die Silikonmatte ist spitze kann ich nur weiterempfehlen LG aus Gevelsberg A.F
