Mako 3X Magnifier for Red Dot/Reflex Sights (3rd Generation) - Black

I bought this to use behind a meprolight m-21 sight mounted on a sr-762 with iron flip-up sights for backup.....This is an OK magnifier but I couldn't get the magnifier to work with the above set-up no matter what combination of rings or riser bases I tried......ON A SIDE NOTE....The supplier I used was The Global Sportsman...I had to write them an inquiry on my order to get it to start shipment...I will not order from Global ever again if I know that they are the supplier.....Final thoughts; This is not a "do all", "fit all" magnifier so CAREFULLY consider your weapons sight set-up, like if you are going to also have iron sights mounted on your weapon or not, before ordering.

WOW, this is a nice magnifier. The view is crystal clear with good relief. The magnifier is solid and well made. I purchased a flip to the side mount so I will not be using the mount that comes with the magnifier but out of excitement I did mount it on my AR just to check it out. The mount is also solid with no "rattle". Easily installs and removed.Overall, great product and a very reasonable price.

I really like this magnifier behind my Mepro M21. Eye relief, clarity, and magnification are very good. But the claim that you can "Transition between no magnification for speed in close-range combat and magnification for precision shooting as situation dictates" is a bit overstated...not really with the mount supplied. It almost sounds like you can dial it to 1x but they really mean you have to remove it from your rail, or get a flip-to-side or mam-30 mount (not included).

Mounted behind Meprolight 21 on swivel clamp on IWI m95. Very clear glass. Nice focus diopter used with glasses. Remains in focus and clear despite many rapid fire rounds. Extremely good buy for the money. I liked to so much for the price, I bought 2 planning to use other with an EoTech sight on an AR platform. Remember, this does require some kind of an illuminated external sight first.

I'm surprised the eye relief isn't that bad compared to more pricey ones.The rubber piece to adjust the relief comes off easily and feels grainy.Decent glass, a little big, a little heavy, but I'm a believer.

It seems a little too big and bulky for what it is - a simple 3x magnifier, but works great with a Mepro 21. I put it on an Ade flip mount.

Has a piece of dirt or something on the inside of the far lens. Beat it around but still couldn't get it to move. No manufacturer on it or the packaging, could have been built by Mattel for all I know.

I have this behind my Eotech 516A651, and it really is great for long distance. I have it attached to a Sightmark Flip-to-Side 30mm mount, which is great because I can just move it out of the way for close quarters/quick shots, and flip it into place for long distance, accurate shots.
