2 year old broke her leg before vacation and this was perfect. We were skeptical that it would work but tried because of the reviews. Here to say it does indeed work and was a life saver at Great Wolf Lodge! The cast didn’t get wet one time with all of the crawling and moving around in the water and on slides! You should measure before purchasing to ensure the size is correct.

My son is 9 years old I ordered the small for him. He broke his right leg. Took a shower with the sleeve perfectly. Once he was down taking a shower I made sure I dried the sleeve completely with a towel. Easy to take off and his leg was completely dry. I would recommend this for everyone.

It wasn’t hard to get on. I thought it would be, but it wasn’t at all. The quality of it was great! No water go it, even swimming for hours. This could be a pro or con depending on how you look at it, but there is an air bubble that I couldn’t get out, but it ended up being the best thing, because instead of his boot being too heavy and pulling him down, it ended up being a floatie for him. He figured out how to use the bubble in the boot to keep him afloat.

THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK! I HAVE PURCHASED A SIMILIAR ONE IN THE PAST FOR A GRANDDAUGHTER AND IT WORKED AMAZING. THIS BRAND WAS HORRIBLE! I PURCHASED IT FOR MY 8 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER SO THAT SHE COULD GET IN THE POOL. I PUT THE PRODUCT ON CORRECTLY AS DIRECTIED SHE WAS IN THE POOL FOR ABOUT 30 MIN AND WHEN SHE GOT OUR SHE SAID IT FELT LIKE WATER WAS IN HER CAST. SURE ENOUGH WE TOOK IT OFF AND WATER CAME POURING OUR!!I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS! SO VERY DISAPPOINTED. 30.00 WASTED AND A TRIP BACK TO THE DR FOR A NEW CAST .

My daughter is 3.5 and fractured her tibia in the middle of summer 😭 we thought she wouldn’t be able to go swimming or take baths for a while, but then we found this! We used one of her brother’s baseball socks to put on first and then slid this over it. I was worried the cast might damage the rubber so the sock gave me peace of mind. Worked like a charm! My daughter wore it for longer than the recommended 30 mins (it was closer to 3 hours!). She never complained about it hurting. And there wasn’t even much of a mark when we removed it which was surprising. She just played and splashed in the water like always! She even got in the big pool with us so it was completely submerged.Just make sure to burp it before going in. It’s easier if you have someone to help you. I held my daughter over the pool and slowly lowered her in until there were only a couple inches exposed at the top over the water. Then my mom slipped her finger in the top to release the trapped air. And we were good to go! We used it on multiple occasions in the pool and for baths/showers. Each time we removed the cast cover, her cast was bone dry. And the cover is super quick to air dry.Would recommend this to anyone! I wasn’t sure if the small would be too short but it was perfect. Her cast went from her ankle all the way up to to top of her thigh.

To make a long story short, my daughter broke her ankle at the beginning of summer, and because I still wanted her to enjoy the summer we decided to try this based on a recommendation.After this product was recommended to us I went on and started looking. I found this and followed the sizing guide to a T. My hubby and I felt confident this was going to work.After unboxing, I still felt good about it. Because of the material I knew it would be a little bit of a struggle to get over the cast which of course it was.Here is where things went south. The material itself is great, however toward the top becomes very thin and almost feels like it could break. The worst part though was with the fit. It states to measure from bottom of foot to just above the cast (which we did). However when we put it on our daughter it literally sits just above the cast and so when she moves it starts to roll or shift and it becomes too small. At first you think it’s going to fit great it seals nice to leg, but after a few leg movements it is now down to the cast. Not to mention that we had to pull up on it so much that it was squeezing her toes at the bottom. I should mention that her cast is from toes to just below her knee.I guess I said all of that, to say this. When measuring, I would go well above the cast (like 5 inches) and then do the measurement around the leg itself. I would have much rather of had it a little big instead of so tight that it allowed for no movement. Looking back we would have made the protector go above the knee.I am not saying don’t buy the product, I would just be sure you give some wiggle room for the length of the protector.

I bought this for my 3 year old that broke his leg a week before family vacation. It worked great the first time we used it and my sons cast stayed dry. The next time however there was a small hole in the top you couldn’t see and his cast got soaked. We ended up having to get an urgent appointment to replace his cast. So that was pretty disappointing, but without that issue it’s a great product and true to size. My son is very skinny, still fits in 2T and the cover fit him perfectly.

This saved our vacation in Cancun. Kept the wound completely dry every time used. Highly recommend. Dr didn't know this was available. She said to stay out of pool completely.
