Are You Being Served? Vol. 5 [DVD]

I love this series and some of the episodes on this disc are my favorite. The package arrived fine and the disc looked new, but when I tried to play it, 3 of the episodes skipped and I couldn't watch them at all. Not sure what the problem was, but I'm returning the dvd. Not sure if anyone else sells series 5 as I'm skeptical of reordering the series from this retailer.

Great show, always funny, but with no CC you miss some dialogue.Unfortunately the description on Amazon is incorrect.Too much trouble to return.

These episodes still had the original cast, and had not yet used up as many of the comic possibilities inherent in the store and the interactions. Absolutely fabulous, to borrow another comedy's tagline.

I started to watch Are You Being served when it used to come out on PBS and I grew to love it. All the episodes on this volume are great. I particulary like the one having to do with Father Christmas and Mrs.Slocombe's birthday. This is definitely a great show to watch when you really need to laugh.

Great shows! I just love the British accent. I remember growing up as a teenager watching these old reruns on the PBS station. Wow what a memory.

I am a big fan of British television programming and I've been a fan of the show "Are you being served?" for quite some time. Watching this show always puts a great big smile on my face and makes even the dullest moments joyous! Don't take my word for it......pick up a few seasons for yourselves.

Bought for my grandmother for Christmas. I have fond memories of watching this show with her as a teenager!
