These are great full size notebooks for drawing, sketching or taking notes. They are great for almost any activity you need to engage in. The plane craft paper covers are awesome for drawing on to make your own designs or just vandalizing with stickers or grafiti. I keep one of these on my desks for jotting quick notes into and have given a few away to friends to use since they come in a 12 pack, their are plenty to use and leftovers to go around. They are a bit pricey coming in per book, but they are a good cross between a notebook and sketchbook.In regards to paper quality, the paper is thick enough to allow even broad nib fountain pens to write nicely on the paper without feathering yet the paper is absorbent enough to no create feathering or blot the ink off on the back of the previous page. For pencils the paper is smooth enough with enough bite to allow layers of colors with different lead varieties, but it may be a bit too smooth for the pencil leads to not rob off. The notebooks are nice because they are full size paper.

Our children, as well as many of yours I'm sure, are doing distance learning, so we're constantly in need of paper. These notebooks have no writing lines, they are more for doodling and drawing. They are standard 8.5 x 11 size, and each book has 60 pages. However, at $35 for 12, that's close to $3 a book. I knocked one star for their other listing that has lines for writing. But I think it's harder to find blank artbooks for cheap, so I'll leave this at 5-Stars. But keep in mind, I haven't done any extensive research in the pricing of blank artbooks.
