Excellent product and very well made! It works perfectly and allows Step Up / Step Down from either 220-240V AC 50Hz to 110-120V AC 60HZ or from 110-120V AC 60Hz to 220-240V AC 50Hz. Extremely happy with this product as it does exactly as advertised and if you require a Step Up / Step Down Transformer this is one of the best quality units on the market at a very reasonable price.

Works great! Bought it to run an Indian wet grinder - Ultra 2.5L (150W , 230V with a 250V 6 Amps rated plug). Runs perfect as this has plenty of power: 1500W (just in case to use with a 1000W Indian mixer grinder in future) For 120V input, gives 241V to 245V output, so beware if your device is sensitive to small increases in voltage. I was skeptical about accidentally flipping the input voltage switch on the back, but it is well designed - no issues. No noise and seems like well built overall. No complaints far, but wouldn't mind giving some extra bucks for a display that shows input volts and output volts and watts. Design may be enhanced to hang over a wall.

UPDATE: seller replaced item and it's working now. Will update if it fails again. way under specced. This worked fine for a few weeks, but now it fails after about 30 minutes of sustaining a 130 watt load (a small hvac blower). Yes, the product listing states you should size up 3x for running a fan motor, which we did. E.G. they say 1500 watts rating is required for a 500 watt motor. But our motor only draws 130 watts. You can do the math, but that's way less than 500 watts. Also, it fails while the fan is running, not during start-up, when the 3x extra capacity is supposedly required.

Me sorprendió la entrega, fue bastante rápido, habían estimado que fuera en 1 semana, y me llegó en la mitad de tiempo, no me lo esperaba, justo tuve una jornada larga el día anterior y no pude contestar las llamadas, pero fueron temprano a mi casa y me despertaron para avisarme que había un pedido, agradezco que haya sido mucho antes, lo iré probando para ver que tal va, pero hasta ahora todo bien, además otro punto fuerte es que viene bien cuidado el producto, las piezas de Tecnopor que lo recubren están bien solidas y amortiguadoras, gracias.

Unit was incorrectly wired. Prior to using checked the 110 volt sockets with a cheap 3 light tester. Was plugged into and the switch was set for 110 Volt input. When the power switch was on the tester indicated reverse polarity, when turned off it showed Hot and Ground reversed. The Hot Ground reverse is a false reading due to a broken neutral. Pulled out a multimeter and verified the 110 volt neutral and hot were reversed. More importantly the 230 volt socket tested 120 on both the Active and Neutral regardless of the power switch being On or Off. These results had me suspect a reverse polarity issue with the power switch wired to the neutral. Confirmed this by supplying power an extension cord with intentionally wiring the female end with the Hot and Neutral reversed. This immediately resolved the issue. The terminals on both the 110 and 230 volt outlets no longer had voltage when the power switch was off. With the power switch On the sockets tested correctly, correct polarity on the 110 volts and only had 230 volts on the Active/Hot wire. Contacted support from the Amazon site as per the instructions. Within 5 minutes the chat apologized for the issue and offered refund options. Gave a separate 5 star review on the vendor feedback for the quick transaction. The unit itself seemed well constructed, liked the unit. Needless to say I opened the case and confirmed the neutral was wired to the power switch. Ended up swapping the input Hot and Neutral by re-soldering them at the input connector. Unit now test and operates normally with the original provided power cord. For those wondering I had verified the power source (wall outlet) for correct polarity. In the end have to give it a 1 star review as most users probably would not have the ability to test the unit prior to using it. Otherwise like the construction and very minimal noise from the unit. Nearly silent operation, have to put an ear next to the case to hear any transformer hum. If wasn't for the wiring issue would have given a 4 or 5 star review! The attached pics show initial power On and power Off. Last pic was post modification.

Used this device to convert from 110V to 220V single phase, then used a VFD to go from single phase to 3 phase. Worked amazingly well to run motors 5hp and under. This device was easily mountable to a custom frame and easy to take apart for cleaning.

It was enlightening to once again fire up my AEG 2EA 450W, 240V percussion / hammer drill after 40+ years. Still in the box and the drill in great shape. I had tried using a modern cordless and drill into my outside brick wall and failed. Purchasing the LVYUAN Transformer 1500, best deal ever. Used concrete bits of course and within 30 seconds had a 1" hole for the screw and insert. That drill is built for hammering, period. The Transformer didn't flinch. Even though the HZ frequency is different, this will have no adverse affects on this drill. (although may not be suitable for sensitive electronic equipment)? Would research that. Cool, silent, green light all the way. A great investment.

Useless. The device arrived and it hasn’t worked from the first time I plugged it in and switched it on. It was set to the correct voltage so the issue is clearly with the device. Buy a different transformer - not this one.
