MakitaE-03567 Impace Premier 11 Piece Torsion Bit Set

I was after a small box of impact driver bits and this one fits the bill perfectly. Small enough to fit most pockets on work trousers and easily an ideal addition to your drill tool box too.

Was interested to try a branded make of driver bits as I've always bought cheaper ones and just chucked them away once worn.These Makita bits come in a clever (if ultimately pointless case) which holds them together and pops open at the touch of a button. The bit holder is less easy to extract however and took a bit of poking around to withdraw it.In use the bits perform great. I used one whilst constructing a staircase today and it has lasted well. Even after the odd occasion of the bit spinning in the screw head (operator error not a fault with the bits) the driver bit was left undamaged where as with cheaper ones it would be time for a replacement.Very impressed. Maybe there is a benefit in paying more, although I still think these bits are just a bit too pricey.

Haven’t used it enough yet

Quite pricey for a set of torque bits but then they are good quality and will last, I love the box they stored in that's probably 50% of the price, matches my power tools as well can't be bad, I probably will only ever use a few sizes and the rest will just remain unused so it does beggar the question do you really need to spend this kind of cash on a whole set, well just look at that box the answer has to be yes.

Yes, it is a lot of money for what you get, but this is a great set of high quality and a brand that you can trust.I use it daily and it works great. Nice and compact and can be stored easily.

Top quality set, as you would expect at the price point! Such as improvement over generic from unknown brands with soft metal. The pop-open holder is handy too.All in all, recommended.

Saves time changing over drill bits.

OK, so as a general rule, Makita stuff is just generally good quality, well based on these, I'd say that legacy is set to continue.I don't bother with regular 'bits' anymore, I just go straight for impact bits, they're just so much more resilient!! Only used the PZ1 & PZ2 so far, but they're taken enough punishment to know that the set is a good option. Hit the button & it pops up a little lid type thing, remove the bit you need, colour coded & numbered, the little lid thing stops them falling out, but they are gripped in place too.There's a bit holder tucked in at the bottom, should you need it.One improvement I'd like to see... ThePZ2 is the most commonly used, there should have been a second one of these included, despite these being tough, hard bits, it will eventually break, so a second PZ2 would have perfected the set.
