Q: Why does my flashlight only stay on for five seconds then turns off. I've tried replacing the batteries several times.

If it only stays on for 5 seconds after you press the on switch and then lift your finger off the switch, your flashlight is defective. This series is programmable but does not a 5-second setting. Hopefully it is still under warranty so you can get it repaired or replaced.

Q: It's advertised as "Up to 524 Lumens (3-Cell D)." So what are the max lumens on this 2-Cell D unit?

Going by the Packaging material, the two D cell also puts out 524 Lumens. I tend to agree with this as this flash light is as bright as my much larger Dorcey rechargeable portable spotlight.

Q: What is the difference between ml300l and ml300lx ?

The lx has deep cut grip groves where the l is just the checking like was on the older maglites

So far I needed to use it once and it came in quite handy. I was looking for a D-Cell flashlight with a good amount of lumens to compliment my tactical flashlight. Right now I have it on Law Enforcement but may try different settings.

どう仕様の電球タイプも所持しているが、白く光り光軸の拡散と言う事では落ちるが、それを加味しても明るさの方が勝。LEDの球が壊れたら代替品は有るのかな。有るなら教えてください。
