I read it through as a book instead of as a devotional. I loved it! I definitely saw things from a different light and learned a lot.

I loved the way Michael keeps you engaged by repeating the scenarios and asking questions after. It really makes you think about your own life and how to improve it.There’s always hope!

This was a really good book. It was well written and easy to read. The author did a great job helping the reader see accounts from the Bible in a whole new perspective. I loved it!

Michael takes you on a journey with Jesus and his encounters with various people.

Edit:“But Jesus came for everyone.”Whenever I see a disgruntled employee or a rude customer, I think to myself, “God loves that person in this very moment.” Afterward, my hatred and judgments melt away.Jesus does care about all of us, and this book is truly showing that in such a clear light.Glory to God!! ❤️🙌After reading nearly the rest of the book, I cannot urge the reader of this review to take Michael Murray seriously. This is a very dense set of short, sweet sermons.You will find things you didn’t see before, like the woman and child Jesus heals in Mark 5 both relating to 12 years. There are many spiritual reasons for these things, and Michael has quite a strong grasp on these spiritual aspects.Final Edit: Which story did I relate to most, Michael? Well, it’s cliché, but I saw myself in every one of those stories. Especially with the way you dissected the meaning, importance, and significance of each one. I’m glad you chose the last study to be who you did. For me, that’s the most relieving and powerful encounter with the Lord in all of scripture. It’s the absolute climax of His love for His creation.Love you, brother.Great book!! 🥲

Jesus & The Way of Sorrows is an awesome book by Michael Murray. I bought all three of his books in the series and I could not put them down. I started with" Nobody Left Out - Jesus meets the Messes". Read that one along with my husband. Then, I dove into "Nobody Left Out - Jesus & The Way of Sorrows", and I have almost finished it in two days. I'll probably begin on the 3rd book " Nobody Left Out - Waves of Grace", which is about Jonah in the next few days. Michael has a way of telling the story and making me think and also, bringing me to conclusions I would have never thought of! These books have given me hope! Thank you Michael for helping me understand Jesus so much better and telling His story!
