I use several of these excellent mppt solar system charge controllers throughout my home solar panel system. EpEver seem very good at always regulating the varying voltages from pv solar panel groups, to maximise my 24 volt Trojan T105 battery banks charge rates. They always run cool, even at maximum power ratings, and are easy to programme using the unit’s push buttons, or the MT50 remote meter unit. They can also be controlled using a remote PC/Laptop and their own software package.

Unfortunately, this item doesn't have preset parameters for Lithium as suggested by some, but you can manually adjust some of the settings in the 'User' profile to suit Lithium batteries.

I bought this to replace an old solar charger it is well worth doing

Easy to fit (replaced a dodgy unit from another manufacturer).Started charging within a second of seeing light. Doesn't need strong sunshine, charges well when overcast despite it only being connected to a single 100W solar panel.The (supplied in the kit) remote meter lets you fine tune the settings for your particular situation and can be mounted to a suitable location or used to set up then unplugged and safely stored for future use.The (also supplied) battery temperature sensor has approximately 3 Metres of lead was plenty for my setup should help with low/high temperature charge at temp extremes.In summary well made units with fairly easy to understand instruction manuals. Well worth the full price money, although I managed to pick it up at an offer price that made the VFM even better!
