Awesome metal detector!!! My father was an avid metal detector so I have always wanted to have one. Very easy to assemble. This is an awesome kit! It comes with a storage bag, shovel, headphones. It's very light and very easy to use. I'm excited to have many adventures with it!!

I looked at the price. I looked at the reviews - and thought this would be a good purchase.It arrived in perfect shape and I found it to meet the needs that I had. I had a piece of ground that used to be a junk pile and I was looking for things that would puncture the tires on my mower. This served the purpose just fine. It is light and easy to handle too.When it is all said and done, I would buy it again.

his is Amazons #1 pick for a non-name-brand MD. It’s fine for beginners. If your only doing dry land like parks and dry sand, it will work. If you go to the damp sand part of the beach, it will beep Intermittently. Also, will not pick up small pieces of gold. Maybe it might pick up a ring, but nothing smaller, like gold chips, etc. The only function that disappoints is the Pin point function, that’s also intermittent. Best to buy a separate pin pointer. I returned this, only because I live next to beaches, and I will be in the damp sand a lot. If your looking for an affordable beginner name-brand detector, and willing to spend an extra $70, you can get the minelab vanquish 340 for under $200. The only down sides, is that you have to buy all your accessories separately and you cannot put the coil in water. But if your main concern is an accurate MD that will work on damp sand as well as dry, (parks, lawns, etc) and finds even small pieces of gold, this is an amazing machine. It’s the lowest cheapest model minelab makes, and beats pretty much any non name brand one. The PANCKY is probably a top 3 Amazon non brand detector. My first time in my back yard, I found 2 beer bottle caps, but had to return it after realizing it’s not good for beach.

So far this metal detector has done exactly what we were looking for. This was purchased for my son for his birthday and he just loves it. It was extremely easy to put together and the included bag was a bonus. It picks up all sorts of things and we really like the icons on the display outlining what type of material it is picking up. This makes it easy for my son to identify things. Overall he is very happy and we are glad it works well.

I purchased this product for my 11yo son as a gift. Once received, assembled, and thoroughly read through the directions, we took it down to our local public beach and began scanning the public beach area. After a few minutes he discovered a nail buried in the sand, he also found additional metal object. He also found a fishing lure which was a Cotton Cordell Pencil Popper in mackerel pattern. The lure itself was in great condition including the split rings, however the hooks are rusted but are replaceable. Score!!!! He loves fishing so we’ll replace the hooks and add the lure to his arsenal. Also on a good note we removed these sharp items from the sand which hopefully will spare an innocent beachgoer with a puncture wound in the foot this summer. Great product!!!!

I recently had my roof replaced and the roofers played a game of what can only be called "the great roof nails hunt" hiding roofing nails all around my house. I was hoping this would help me find the little treasures so my grandson never gets an unneeded ad unwanted hole in his foot. Sadly this for reason has issues detecting the roofing nails regardless of the settings selection. I have thrown a nail on the ground and tried detecting it and had the detector sometimes just not detect it. Even though I can clearly see it. I have found 100 plus nails with it so it does work I guess maybe i am doing something wrong? Moral if the story is if I can see it this thing should detect it. Did not work very well at all finding copper wire laying in the ground either.

Pretty easy to use instructions are clear to read and navigate the device. It gives appropriate depth while showing metal types which is helpful. We look forward to using at the beach but so far have used in rural Florida and found some metal and copper.

I received this detector as a gift and hadn't owned one before but seems to work ok. I did notice a few times that it will beep and the display will show money and it ended up being a pop can tab, so it doesn't always seem spot on accurate. If you like to be surprised it works well at detecting an item. It was nice that it came with a heavy duty shovel that works really well.
