Bora 24" Parallel Clamp, 2-Pack 571124T

i decided to save a few dollars instead of the Bessy clamps which are fairly expensive, i did not know Bora, they seem fine yet quality not to the Bessy level , delivery was a few days late, no problem .

Shucks! I missed my return window by only a couple of weeks. I've used these clamps about 4 times since I purchased them last May. I tried to use them for a cabinet glue-up, and I could not tighten either one. They slip like crazy. Compared to my equivalent Jorgensen Cabinet Master clamps (that never slip), the Bora clamps are absolutely worthless.

I have a lot of different types of quick clamps and these go well beyond all of them. 2 of these clamps do the work of 10 quick grip ones. There's no bending under high pressure, they stick their landing the first time. I used them for 3/8" pine edge banding on plywood and not a mm of shifting. These earned my full confidence for jobs where you cant afford a second chance. I wouldn't do a glue up without them. If all you need is hold and aren't concerned with pull, then quick clamps are fine, but if you need rock solid accuracy, these are well worth the cost. What I can build has increased exponentially with these clamps. A must for cabinet making.

Edit 03/08/2022Today one of the clamps would not apply pressure, every time it began to get sung the head slipped back.These clamps are still in pristine condition.This takes it from decent to garbage.Unfortunately the return window closed at the end of February.I am deleting the original complimentary review because it no longer applies.
