I admit, my cats would rather chew up my stuff. But I thought 2 moving pieces would hold their attention. Well, it didn't. But that's the same with the fortune I've spent on toys. The only thing that gets them going is the little cheap handheld laser light, but I have to entertain them with that. There is a laser light tad expensive chargeable floor laser light. Guess I'll try that next.

Winston, a cat who can open doors and cabinets and pull out counter bases to crawl back under kitchen counters, is curious and bored. We have tried many toys and then rotate them. This device doesn't hold his attention as well as the mouse that hangs from a doorjam and bounces, but it does engage him for awhile. He was immediately attracted to the bouncy mouse on top. This morning he is batting the little ball around. Alas it doesn't hold his attention for long, but we will put it away and bring it out again. Would love to find a toy with more staying power.

My cat really liked this in the beginning and played with it often, and then she just got bored with it. The toy itself is fine..well made and does what it should. I would recommend this.
