Human Resource Management

I am currently taking this course at a college in Colorado. It was in an E-text form, but I needed the hard copy because this book is and its information is so critical. I wish I had this back years ago to know the rules and regulations of HR and the impact it has on all of us. I bought the book because as I am learning, I am highlighting many areas for future reference in my career. Its not only an important learning tool, it is invaluable to have as a reference down the road. It is intensive, however it is worth the money to have this knowledge at the ready for future issues. I would recommend anyone dealing in business, government, or working with 15 more employees to buy this book

This book is a teacher edition, so I am not sure yet on how different it is from the curriculm, but I have seen good reviews about this version. I will update my thoughts once I get into the book soon.I believe that the company forgot to send me an update that the book was sent out, but everything worked out. They did ship it media mail, which is what I expected.I purchased the book for $98 + 3.99= $101.99. This was the best deal that I found!Thank you.

The book is great, has all the pages, etc., but there are a lot of highlighter marks and notes that were already in it. It's still a fine textbook and works, but if you like doing your own highlighting in a book then you're better off buying a new one.

This textbook offers an excellent insight into the world of Human resources. As a manager, I found this book to be a helpful tool in performing many of the functions I perform. I found the yellow banner at the bottom of the page containing term definitions very helpful.

Just in case you didn't read the part written right after the words "13 edition" it says "print replica". I did not notice this before purchasing though I'm sure I would have bought it anyway because I needed the book immediately. I do not like books on my kindle that are smaller versions of the original book. I find the book hard to read especially when the original print is so small.

I needed this book for a class at Gonzaga University. The class had already started, shipping was fast, convenient, and incredibly easy to track. I did not fall behind in class. Although Human Resources is not my program, I will be keeping this book because the information inside is incredibly valuable.

Too many bold or large headings make the pages seem cluttered at times. Layout could be much better.

This is an amazing resource for all the important things to know in HR. It gives really good scientific and practical info, as well as resources to get you started as a practitioner. Anyway working in HR, especially managers, must know these foundation aspects of HR in this book.
