Emu Essence Energizing Face and Body Cleanser with Emu Oil 8 Ounce

I purchased this product for my wife. The two of us are great fans of EMU oil products but we read labels to make sure that the products we buy do not have any nasties in them, like Sodium Laryl Sulfate, titanium dioxide, and other kinds of things that have no benefit other than to make the item look good, or preserve the contents, etc. Many EMU oil products contain ingredients that we do not like to use, so we are real choosy about getting the right product. This product has walnut husks and several botanicals along with the EMU oil.Note that I am not a guy that uses scrubs and cleansers. Just can't get into that mode of life, so this product is more for the woman in the house. So, she is the user in this household. I polled her on her feelings and this is what she told me."I like this scrub a lot. It does a good job cleaning my face and hands. I have not used it on my body. I spread it with my hands and not the body sponge or.loofa as the directions say because I do not have the sponge or loofa. So, I just use my hands to put it on my face and hands and I wipe it off with a wash cloth. My skin feels clean and refreshed afterwards."So, I was reading the Amazon description and see that one suggested use is as a shampoo. I might give that a try. I do use an EMU shampoo that I really like and I will have to give this a try to see how it compares. I popped the lid and smelled it and it smells like spearmint. Not terribly strong, just a nice minty fragrance.So, my bottom line is 5-stars because it made the wife happy and a happy wife makes a happy life. Since we have our 45th wedding anniversary coming up this month, I must be doing a good job of keeping her happy.

Smell is great, but it was too drying for my skin.

Burns my eye if I happen to get it in them.

I like it. It's moisturizing for my dry skin.
