It was, really, the reviews of Systane Lid Wipes, plus the fact that I have used Systane eye drops, on and off, with great success, over a period of about a decade that convinced me to try these. They work, for me, wonderfully. Every now and then, I get dryness in the outside corner of one of my eyes. It seems to more commonly affect my right eye but can happen in either eye. The Systane Lid Wipes dissolve the crustiness that develops in the corners of my eyes and also relieves the itchiness that seems to come with the dryness. The Lid Wipes are easygoing and gentle on the skin around my eyes and, usually, have relieved the dryness in the corners of my eyes for several days or a week or more, between applications. From my experience, Systane Lid Wipes live up to the positive reviews that they have earned in these Amazon product reviews.

My eye doctor recommended these wipes to remove waterproof eye makeup and they have not failed me. Both my eye liner and mascara are waterproof and it takes only a few swipes over the area to clean. There is no oily residue left from the wipes or causing discomfort to the eye. I have glaucoma so am extra careful with the products I use on my eyes. I'm really satisfied with this one.
