My 6-year-old Labrador Koda has put on a little weight and even though he’s on a quality dog food, he has terrible gas, he seems lethargic, and has loose stool. I have been slowly switching him over to Nulo by mixing increasing amounts of Nulo with his old food. So far, his stomach has tolerated the Nulo just fine. He absolutely loves the taste! He must be getting the nutrients he needs, because he is eating less. So while this dog food may seem expensive, you actually go it at a slower rate. In less than a month, my dog has lost 5 lbs and he seems more energetic.When my Vet learned that I moved to a grain-free diet, he was not happy. He lectured my wife for about 20 minutes, citing studies against it. I don’t really know what to believe, but similar to humans with the Ketogenic (low carb) diet, you just don’t need carbs, so why put them in there as fillers?I wrote to Nulo with my concerns and they promptly responded:“Nulo’s dog and cat foods are formulated by a credentialed animal nutritionist (Ph.D.), who has been at the forefront of formulating commercial dog and cat foods for over 30 years. I bought this for my Corgi because she was getting slightly overweight for her size. She likes it so far and I rest assured in the fact that she is getting a well balanced meal from a high nutritional food source.

I started using this product 10 months ago because I needed a food that my dog would like she has allergies to grain beef poultry etc so fish was what she needed however she also needed to have little to no fat which this product has. My dog is almost 12yrs old a year ago she developed chronic almost fatal pancreatitis. the vet told me about Nulo because I do everything in my power to keep her from having an attack. Trying to find a dog food that wasn't prescribed by the vet & has little to no fat in it yet is still tasty was near impossible until my vet told me about this company's dog food. My dog loves it & she is doing remarkable hasn't had any more attacks, as long as she has her regimen of her food not having fat in it or as little as possible. The price is a little steep but compared to other all natural foods it is definitely worth its price. I definitely like buying it on Amazon vs in a store because the store does markup where Amazon is much more affordable. I think the only thing that I dislike about the food is that it has lentils in it causes gas so she has to have gas pills so that's an added expense. But other than that I really like the combination of the fish. I think that it is a very pure organic food for the price range. I'm sure if I paid 10x the amount I would be able to get gas free food however let's be serious who can afford that this food my dog likes and that's what matters the longer she is on this Earth the longer I am happy happy mom. Needed a very low fat diet for my senior boston terrier and finally found it! This is very low fat and my picky eater gobbles it up without hesitancy (I also soak it in water in the fridge to soften it up for him bc he can't chew anymore). Because it is low fat, I feed him more than the recommended amount because my goal is not for him to lose weight, and if I didn't he feels hungry a few hours after the meal. I also give him a raw apple, carrot, or sweet potato at noon to get him through the day but I am very happy that he is not at all bloated or uncomfortable, his poops are very regular and perfect, and the ingredients give me peace of mind. ♥

Love this food for my dogs, I have 3 dogs and have to buy 3 different flavors due to Age & Weight. I am a customer monthly for 3 26lb bags. The dog food itself I highly recommend. The prices quoted vs prices charged I am not happy with as it seems to keep being charged $8-$10 more than the price I subscribed monthly to and no alerts given.

I found this to be a good brand for my small dog for her weight management in her senior years and she lost 5lbs….YAY.

My senior, rescue Aussie has lost weight. He is suffering from arthritis in his front legs, keeping his weight right is crucial for his comfort and health. This food has allowed me to take him down 6 pounds without him feeling deprived. Nulo has never had a recall. Best choice if you want to slim your dog down.

I've been using nulo wet and dry dog food since it came out my only complaint is that the price has gone up at least $20 I like that it's made in small batches also it has really good ingredients much better than any store-bought you really need to look at the ingredients they have no by-products which could be intestines I know it's gross but true or anything else so as of right now I'm using it I trust it unless of course I want it spend $300 on dog food delivered to my home which I would love but it's so financially prohibitive

My dog had a pancreatic attack so now has to eat low fat food and treats. Tried a few brands and this one she liked more so than others and the cost was reasonable compared to others.

A little pricey dogs like it. The bag did last quite a long time for 2 little dachshunds . The bag was in really good condition the second time we ordered it's own separate cardboard box.
