Shockingly poor quality...
The quality of this item is so low I cannot believe Amazon stocks and sells it. I'm not sure if the unit that I was sent was bad but first of all the box is not big enough for the adapter. So the seller literally forced it into the box ripping a hole with the mounting tail sticking out of the box. 2. The screws that come with this kit are garbage literal garbage. they are not the right thread pitch or size to fit any 2.5 drive even outside of the adaptor, the screws are so cheap the philips head stripped on all 4 with bearly any force. 3. The sata adaptor internally is too long or the cuttout is too small, which makes the mounting holes not line up, I had to apply alot of pressure on the back of my drive to get the holes to line up. The only redeeming factor is it works and it looks very clean, but other than that I cannot recommend this to anyone you'd probably be better off ordering the ones from China for $10 this unit being so overpriced and provides no value for the hightned cost.

Excellent fit
Fits perfectly in my laptop. Only issue I had was installing the drive in the caddy itself, it took several tried to get the included screws to go in the drive without cross-threading.

Great purchase and service
Recently bought new Lenovo Thinkpad P71 and needed to find a caddy for second hdd. This product said it fit the P70, which was the previous model. So after checking online I decided to give this caddy a try and it fit perfectly in the new P71. I paid for two day delivery and the product was at my door within 2 days. Great purchase and service.
