Not a meal replacement ... it's a Protein/Vitamin supplimemt
First of all, a lot of other reviewers are using this as a meal replacement. It's not. The packaging states, 'Not intended to be a meal replacement. Use this product as a supplement only. Do not use for weight reduction.' That may be some legal mumbo jumbo ... but 160 calories, 5% saturated fat, etc. is not a suitable caloric meal, especially if you are an athlete. (I am a former athlete who had a nutritionist, so I know a lot about supplements. etc.) This is a supplement to a workout or daily diet ... not a replacement meal.If you mix this into a smoothie or shake, that should be a suitable meal replacement. On its own, it's basically a few ground up vitamins and milk powder. Speaking of mixing ... this will likely be gritty, even if you use an electronic mixer. I used my electronic whisk that I use with my matcha and it was still on the gritty side. If you blend it into yogurt or frozen vegetables, the consistency will likely be better ... as will the taste. With water, this tastes like vanilla laced pond water. Not pleasant. Usually they do great things with protein powders making them taste like birthday cake, etc. This has Barley Grass powder, Spirulina, Chlorella, Spinach Powder, beet powder, etc. Anytime you put all that stuff in ... the blueberry powder, pomegranate powder and other berry powders won't be able to balance out the 'pond water' taste. Better to have the good stuff in there though. It would likely be better with yogurt or frozen berries but on its own, it's not delicious but its palatable. The protein here is 25g, which is a pretty good amount for your average athlete after a workout. Protein helps repair the small tears in your muscle fibers that working out causes ... that's what helps make lean muscle development. The protein is derived from whey ... so this is NOT VEGAN ... and other sources like brown rice and pea. Those are a bit less effective for muscle development than whey protein but can be easier on the stomach.I see there are lots of probiotics as well. All in all, this is quite a healthy dose of vitamins, proteins and probiotics. I wouldn't skip breakfast with this ... balance is important to an athlete and this alone won't give you the fuel that you need, even as a diet drink. If you can get past the taste and texture, it's a healthy drink that you can make part of your day and skip some of the pill-form supplements you might take. The jury is out on the effectiveness of powdered vitamins vs. from nature vitamins. And I'd like to see more Vitamin D in here. But other than that, I wouldn't mind adding this to my smoothie. It may not be a fountain of youth ... but it can't hurt and is much likely more healthy than a lot of the GNC and other varieties of protein supplements packed with chemicals and artificial flavors. The value isn't bad either.

Was hoping
This would live up to other MacroMeal products but it just does not. Not the best protein supplement but it's ok.

Flavorful, high-potency, low fat and calorie, supplement drink powder.
I have tried the MacroLife Naturals brand's "MacroMeal Omni Chocolate Superfood Supplement Powder Protein + Greens," and I am impressed with its nutritional content. The blend of plant-based antioxidants, probiotics, fiber, digestive enzymes, vitamins, and minerals from vegetables and fruits make it a great option for those looking to supplement their diet with whole foods. The addition of collagen peptides, whey, brown rice, pea, and MCTs provide a steady release of protein for lasting energy and support for healthy weight and lean muscle mass. The flavor is delicious and the product is easy to mix with water or milk. I appreciate that it is non-GMO and gluten-free, and free of synthetic ingredients, preservatives, stabilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. The value is also good considering the amount of nutrition it provides per serving.Overall, I would highly recommend the MacroLife Naturals MacroMeal Omni Chocolate Superfood Supplement Powder Protein + Greens for those looking to boost their nutrient intake and support their overall health and wellness.

Gritty Gritty Gritty - And no Taste!!
I purchased this product because Amazon marketed the product as non gritty. This Protein powder is so gritty it is undrinkable. Yhe flavor is flat even when mixed with Whole Milk. I can't imagine what it would taste like when mixed with water per the suggestions on the package. Also, it is non returnable so if you don't like it, tough. You are stuck trying to figure out how to use it because it isn't exactly economical........
