It isn't shiny on the skin. Its crazy how realistic it looked on my skin.

Q: Does this product stain carpet or hard painted finishes?

Any blood product contains super pigmented red dye so yes it will most likely stain the carpet and any other fabrics. It should wipe off a hardwood floor easily though.

Q: will this dry if painted on a piece of paper and look like real dried blood?

It always looks wet and viscous.
