I have Tried Everything from Proactive to Differin and nothing tops this. The large set lasted me 3 months. It’s worth the money. I had Hormonal Breakouts and I have closed comodones on my chin and this has stopped my acne almost completely. I maybe get one zit a month now.

Never thought the products are going to work, I bought it because I have more frequent breakouts during the winter so I want to try out. Thanks PAULA, it works! Here is how I used it to minimize the acnes/breakouts: Use cleanser to wash out the makeup or any residues on your skin, a small portion will do. Scrub in hand until you see the foam then apply to the face and wash out it using warm water. Then, putting moisturizer or toner of your choice (primarily deep hydration function works best in my opinion) before applying the exfoliating solution to reduce the burning sensation if you want to apply A LOT of exfoliate. But, you should start with little amount for step 2 to see how your skin react to it. Yes! LITTLE! Please Ladies! Literally one to two drops at your fingertip and only to spots that need attention. My favorite is step 3 treatment cream and I usually skipped 1 and 2 and go staright to 3 if my skin conditions are good. Simply apply the cream to your face. You don't have to use these products every day, use it when the breakouts are severe. I would add serum (targeting skin repair function) after step 3 right before I went to sleep. The reason for this is because does not dry your face as much. Make sure you use suncreen in the morning after every application. I am going to emphasize this, SUNSCREEN IS MANDATORY, NO EXCEPTION. Benzoyl peroxide is going to make your skin prone to sunburn. There was one occasion where I forget to put the sunscreen and I can clearly see that the skin peeling off after exposure to sun. I also want to make a note that you should only put solution on spots that needs treatment, not the entire face, otherwise you are interuperting your skin defense line. Small amount and longer the duration of use are the keys. These combinations/steps siginifically reduced the redness and smooth the acnes in ONE night, very surprisingly, saver for night before party. For thoese who have senstitive skin, the products will give you burning/itching feeling, I have combination skin type and I can still feel that stinging on my face if I am applying a lot of the treatment, so portion does matter. Overall I am satisifying and happy and will see if this works the same in the summer.

I ordered this after doing a lot of research and almost buying the Unblemish regimen from Rodan & Fields. The price on that was scary and the conflicting results online made me look for an alternative. I read about Paula's Choice on a consumer reports site and figured I would try it. I have used Proactiv in the past, and had good results but then it stopped working. I have heard that the formula changed, and I'm not the only one that it became ineffective for. I have also tried Murad and Differen. These did not work for me either. I am 36 and have suffered with acne since my early 20's. I was recently only using coconut and tea tree oils since I was pregnant and then nursing, and that was working okay for a while. Lately my skin was back to breaking out regularly on my chin so I needed something stronger. I got the trial size of the regular strength regimen. Within a week of using this product, all of the acne that I had was GONE and no new breakouts since then. After two weeks, my skin was so soft, it felt nicer than I have felt it since I was a young teen. I waited until the trial size kit was almost gone before ordering the whole set, just in case! (I've been burned many times by other products!) Well, I ordered the full kit because my results are so great. Accidently, I ordered the wrong one, I got the extra strength kit and didn't really realize it until a few days in. It burns a little and my skin is a bit drier, but I simply exfoliate a bit more and the results are the same, no more breakouts! I do need to order the right one though, as my under eye area is pretty dry now. But I am really a fan of these products! I wish I had taken some before and after pictures, it really works that well for me!

Purchased this for my 13 year old. He says the stage 1 cleanser is a smooth jell that works well. However, the fumes from it sting your eyes even if you keep them closed. The stage 2 and 3 both work very well. It seems to work better than Proactive skin treatment. My son stated he hated the Proactive cleaners as it is like a gritty paste. As expected you need to use ALL 3 products every day for them to work and it take a few weeks for it to really kick in to be effective.

Prior to using this set my face was breaking out quite badly. I changed my cleanser one day and since then my skin has never been the same, it broke out like crazy and no matter what I did my skin just wouldn’t return to how it was prior to using that cleanser . With that being said, I bought this set and let me tell you, within just a few uses my face was improving! I was in shock! I’ve been using this set for about a week and my forehead is now basically clear again! My cheeks are almost clear, I haven’t had this clear of skin for quite sometime. My only suggestion is to moisturize moisturize moisturize. I have very oily skin so I usually use a light gel like moisturizer. No no no, my skin was so dry it, and it was stiff at times. When I switched to my thicker moisturizer with Shea butter my face instantly felt better and my face was once again glowing and looking healthy again! Also I wouldn’t recommend just using this product twice a day right off the bat because it does sting a little. So work this product into your routine gradually. Just be cautious if you have sensitive skin. Overall this set is a great it definitely has done the job and is clearing my skin in no time. I’d say give it a try if you want to clear your skin, but just keep in mind some of the things mentioned above. I hope this helps, thank you:)
